A large room with a great bathroom/spa
Pros:

A great hotel, large room, with an amazing bathroom/spa.
Nice hotel surrounds, with a good breakfast.

Cons:

It was a reasonable walk from town, but not too steep or hard. felt safe.

Boa opção próxima ao mercado e estação de trem
Pros:

O hotel tem uma estrutura super charmosa e rústica. O quarto no andar superior tinha um banheiro amplo e renovado, equipado com excelente secador de cabelos (não é aqueles grudados na parede, amém), boa ducha e amenities. No quarto, a cama é bastante espaçosa, possui tv com canais a cabo, além de armário e mesas de cabeceira. O café da manhã é excelente e o staff bastante cordial. O hotel está localizado bem próximo ao Mercado de San Pedro e da estação de trem para Machu Picchu Pueblo (o que é bem conveniente - cerca de 600m). Para a Plaza Mayor, a caminhada é de uns 800m, com rua de subida na volta.

Cons:

O assoalho do quarto é de madeira e, por ser antigo, range bastante, mesmo sendo cuidadoso ao andar, o que certamente incomoda os hóspedes que ficam no andar térreo. Os cabos da tv e do decoder da tv a cabo estavam soltos e à mostra. Faltou um cuidado estético pra ficar mais apresentável, mas é apenas um detalhe. Senti falta também do hotel ofertar alguns snacks para compra. Só há opção de bebidas em geladeira próximo à recepção e o restaurante, que fecha cedo. Cheguei de trem às 21h de um domingo e a cidade não tinha opções de restaurantes/lanchonetes abertas nos arredores.

Opção agradável próxima ao mercado e estação
Pros:

Quarto espaçoso no térreo, corredores comuns muito bonitos como um casarão antigo, banheiro renovado com boa ducha, bom secador de cabelos, aquecedor, café da manhã super completo e delicioso. Staff simpático e possibilidade de guardar minha bagagem enquanto viajei a Machu Picchu Pueblo. Destaco tb a proximidade com o mercado e a estação de trem San Pedro.

Cons:

O quarto que reservei tinha duas camas de casal (era a única opção disponível). As camas ficam grudadas nas paredes, que são mais frias e úmidas, o que gera um desconforto até o quarto estar aquecido. Por ser um casarão antigo, o assoalho do andar de cima é de madeira e bastante ruidoso. No período em que não havia hóspedes no andar acima, a estadia foi calma e silenciosa. Com hóspedes acima, é bastante desconfortável, pois se ouve cada passo que a pessoa dá.

Quiet hotel near main square.
Pros:

Huge room with lovely decor and courtyards. Quiet for most of the time. Warm at night with 3 radiators. Great shower. Plenty of hot water. Tv. Wide bed. Very clean.

Cons:

Spa bath was not fitted on the level. Grouting needs redoing! Breakfast was ok, nothing special. Eggs were good but didn't come on toast. Then had to make toast myself, with awful bread (dry and sweet), by which time the eggs were cold, as they did not warm plate. Next morning, I made toast first with a roll and it was better. Coffee way too strong (and I am known for liking strong coffee). Juice watered down. Location up a hill on uneven pavement, with crazy traffic.

Pros:

La grandeur de la chambre. Peut-être faudrait-il des lampes qui éclairent plus car les chambres sont très sombres.

Cons:

Aucune aide du préposé à l'accueil pour les bagages. Il m’a vu pendant 5 minutes essayer de rentrer les valises car mon mari cherchait une place pour la voiiture. Ensuite aucune aide pour les bagages pour aller jusqu'à notre chambre.

Sehr ruhig und bequem.
Pros:

Großes Zimmer, warme Dusche, bequeme Betten, gute Heizung und ein reichhaltiges Frühstück mit frischem Kaffee und Rührei

Cons:

Das Personal war zwar sehr nett, allerdings teilweise unaufmerksam, weil sie durch Doomscrollen am Handy abgelenkt waren.
Zudem hatte unser Zimmer ein Dachfenster, das sich nicht verdunkeln ließ. Dadurch war es im Raum leider immer sehr früh hell. Ein Vorhang wäre hier super.
Obwohl das Hotel sehr leise ist, liegt es doch an einer viel befahrenen Straße. Dadurch ist es sehr unangenehm tagsüber die Straße entlang zu gehen, da man ohne Maske viele Abgase von den Autos abbekommt. Dafür kann das Hotel natürlich nichts. Ist aber trotzdem erwähnenswert.

Cons:

The beds were kind of rigid and the front desk locked me out of the hotel around 11pm after I returned from a late dinner.

Had to knock on the door for about 5 mins to get someone to let me in.
