Kyoto Wakouan Retro Stay

The host was very kind and friendly, after i contacted her that i was arriving slightly early, she allowed me to keep my luggage in my room while she was cleaning.

I liked the time schedule for the shared shower as it ensures it is fair for everyone, even though i didnt run to any issues when going at my non-desginated time. The shared washroom was clean the entire time I was staying there👍🏻

The room was large with 2 beds and a small coffee table. There is sufficient space for me, a solo traveller, to open my 24L luggage to unpack and still have sufficient space to operate and walk around.

The house owner has an super friendly cat who loves to visit room 103, the room with balcony closest to the stairs which was the room i was staying in🐱😸

There is 2 convenient stores which is just a 5 minute walk, a LUUP bicycle/scooter station just 2-3 mins walk away and a matsuya within walking distance.

Overall, i had a pleasant stay.🙏🏻👍🏻😸

My room with private toilet is convince for me during stay, and with a lovely garden view. However, the room is so close to the main entrance, a bit loud someone open and close the wooden door during day and night time. But the room facilities are all comfortable. Just need to clean up the dust at the corner side and wall.

Домик в японском стиле , хозяйка отличная женщина - сделала велком напиток и сладкое , котики в доме очень хорошие , местоположение рядом с метро , в доме тихо спокойно. В номере кухня и холодильник

Le personnel est très gentil et serviable ! On m’a fait visiter la maison et le jardin en arrivant en m’expliquant l’histoire de la maison et du jardin.
Il est aussi possible de faire une cérémonie du thé dans la maison.
Il y a deux chats !!! J’étais très contente de pouvoir voir des chats tous les jours !!
La chambre était parfaite pour moi, j’ai aussi très bien dormi :)

Escogimos este alojamiento para alejarnos de las zonas muy turísticas. Era un barrio residencial muy agradable, silencioso, bien ubicado y con paradas de bus cerca, que te conectaban a todo Kyoto. Habían ricos restaurantes cerca, supermercados, 7 Eleven, templos, etc. La pieza era amplia y cómoda. Las camas eran firmes, lo que nos gustó mucho. Dormimos muy bien. Teníamos un espacio de cocina para nosotros. En la casa habían dos gatitos muy amigables. Las dos mujeres que nos recibieron fueron siempre muy amables y atentas a todas nuestras solicitudes y preguntas. ¡Fue una pena no disponer de más tiempo para disfrutar los espacios comunes de la casa, o de las prácticas culturales que se desarrollaban ahí mismo!

今回も快適に過ごせました。
毎回あちこち歩き回って足が痛くなるのですが宿に帰ってゆっくり休むと次の日は元気を取り戻します。
2匹いるにゃんこもフレンドリーで癒される存在です。
