Pros:

Lisa at the front desk was so pleasant .from the time we walked through the front door everyone was friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Would highly recommend.

Pros:

Location related to travel plans.

Cons:

Leading communication about lakefront rooms which I thought I paid extra to have. Come to find out available meant available only if hotel could assign that side of the hotel. Felt grossly charged to see only a parking lot at a cost that was nearly the same as my room on Mackinac Island which had views and location.

I enjoyed my stay, and would definitely like to come back someday.

Everything was very clean .

Cons:

On our first night the hot tub was not hot , but it did get fixed.

Overall the hotel was decent, the location was good, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was reasonable. We stayed there as it was close to the ferry terminal for our trip to Mackinaw Island.

Cons:

However, the room was disappointing due to the lack of facitities to make a drink, with not even a bottle of water provided in the room.
The pool was poor and the hot tub outside was not very clean. For the price paid I would say it was not value for money. The hotel offering in the area is not great, we will try the Holiday Inn next time and see if that's any better!
