Good if you don't need an invoice
Pros:

The bed was comfortable, not expecting more than that for the price.

Cons:

The manager was really grumpy and I asked several times for an invoice through the Booking app and directly to them by email and they never came back to me.

Pros:

Clean comfortable room in a central location, tad noisy in the evenings with the pub below but expected that going in and didn't prove to be an issue.

Pros:

A terrific location in the heart of this lovely town. A vibrant pub which makes for a great atmosphere if you want a bit of more lively stay. The room is very comfortable. A good shower with clearly labeled contents which actually work.

Cons:

A breakfast option would be good but no big deal plenty of tea and coffee and cafes in the square. No complaints.

Stay if you want to party - I wouldn't stay again.
Pros:

Convenient location for the purpose of our visit. Room was very clean and bed was comfortable.

Cons:

VERY loud - got almost no sleep the two nights we stayed. We were warned when we checked in, but by then it was too late. VERY hot - we had to shut the window to try to cut the noise and one fan was not enough to cool the room. In addition, while the hotel is smoke free, smoke from the pub and patio came up through the room like a chimney. As I am allergic, this contributed to my feeling ill - along with a total of about 8 hours sleep over 2 nights.

If you want to sleep, book another hotel.
Pros:

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.

Cons:

After staying on a Saturday as a last minute booking, we would never stay again. Looking at the reviews we were aware that the pub music was an issue but there were comments that it is turned down or off at 11 to 12. We took earplugs with that in mind. However, the music was so loud the furniture was vibrating, noise cancelling headphones had no chance AND it went on full volume until 2am. Absolute waste of money staying because you won't get any sleep. Following morning we were told by locals the pub has fairly recently changed management and has become a problem for local residents. My advise is even if everywhere else has no vacancies, keep scrolling.

Pros:

Clean and comfortable room, nice shower and friendly staff.

Cons:

It’s a music venue with bands and DJs until 1am. This wasn’t mentioned in the advertising blurb, we were only told on arrival and it was too late to cancel. Not sure if this is the fault of the venue or Booking.com, but while it may suit some people we won’t be staying there again.

Für eine Nacht und ein gutes Essen im Pub geeignet.
Pros:

Das Hotel liegt sehr schön am Marktplatz von Alton.
Der Pub ist sehr schön und das Essen ausgesprochen gut

Cons:

Das Zimmer und die Ausstattung sind nicht auf dem neuesten Stand. Man merkt, dass das Hauptgeschäft der Pub ist und nicht die Zimmervermietung.
