Foncez les yeux fermés. Meilleure expérience à Bali. Famille souriante, avenante, arrangeante, ravie de vous accueillir. Ils nous ont conduit à toutes les adresses que nous voulions. Ils nous ont fait découvrir la région et les soirées karaoké avec des locaux !
Chambres propres, modernes et eau chaude ! humidité attention à vos affaires nous sommes en montagne. Mais clairement 10/10.
Vous repartirez de là avec de nouveaux amis à Bali sans aucun doute !
(PS: j'écris en français parce que c'est ma langue maternelle mais je vis actuellement en Australie)

Een mooi en idyllisch plekje. Vanuit je kamer en ook vanuit de ontbijtruimte kijk je in de mooie tuin. Het is kleinschalig en de eigenaren doen echt hun best om te helpen met (of verzorgen zelf) de uitstapjes. Een junglewandeling met kano was bijzonder en ook de kookworkshop, alleen voor ons georganiseerd. De inzet was zeer persoonlijk, het voelde als familie toen we weggingen.

The hosts are the best I have ever met! They really treat you like family. It was the best decision of the trip to stay at this house.

Ellos no solo se aseguran, sino que hacen todo lo que está en sus manos y más para hacerte pasar la mejor experiencia. Te hacen vivir el Bali real y conocimos hasta a la abuelita, que nos regalo un té. Y nos compartieron de su comida que prepararon todos juntos (deliciosa)

Volvi en esta ocasión con mis amigos y nos hicieron pasar los mejores momentos. Ya queremos volver!!

I have initially booked three nights at Umah Yugadi, but finally I extended my stay for two more days, I can honestly say that this was the most meaningful part of my Bali journey.

What makes this place special is not the room or the facilities, but the people. During these extra days, I visited Lake Bratan, waterfalls, local farms, temples, and even joined the host to prepare breakfast together. I was able to experience everyday Balinese life in a way that would never be possible in a traditional hotel.

The hosts shared their culture, traditions, and favorite places with genuine generosity. I felt like a guest who had been welcomed into their home.

If you are looking for luxury facilities, there are many other options. But if you want authentic human connections, local experiences, and to discover a side of Bali that most tourists never see, this place is truly exceptional.

My stay at Umah Yugadi was one of the highlights of my entire Bali journey.

The room was comfortable, clean, and surrounded by beautiful nature, but what made this place truly special was not the accommodation itself. It was the people.

For the first time since arriving in Bali, I did not feel like a tourist. I felt like a guest.

Kadek and Ketut welcomed me into their world and shared much more than recommendations or sightseeing tips. They shared their daily life, their culture, their traditions, and their vision of Bali. Walking through their family village, visiting temples, meeting relatives, learning about local customs, hiking through the forest, crossing the Twin Lakes by canoe, discovering waterfalls, and spending time together created an experience that felt genuine and deeply human.

Their concept is different from a traditional hotel. Instead of simply providing a place to sleep, they create opportunities to connect with the real Bali and with the people who live here.

The landscapes around Munduk are breathtaking, but what I will remember most is the feeling of being welcomed into a home rather than checking into a hotel.

Thank you, Kadek and Ketut, for your kindness, generosity, and for sharing your Bali with me. I arrived as a visitor and left feeling like a friend.

Kadek and his family welcomed us as a part of their family and took great care of us. They provided transportation and planned some fun day activities for us. We got to see the local village and Kadek‘s family home (not at this location), as well as some gorgeous waterfalls. We also had a fun karaoke night with Kadek and another guest. The room was clean (aside from a couple unavoidable ants) and comfortable. No AC, but we didn‘t miss it and the room had a fan in case you do get too warm. They were able to provide yummy vegan breakfasts for us! The WiFi was a bit slow but you‘ll be tired after all the activities anyways. We had some issues with the hot water but it was an easy fix.

It was an absolute blast staying here! When I arrived I was welcomed so generously and warm. The room was beautiful as well, and I immediately wanted to stay longer. The location is a outside of the centre, but surrounded by beautiful nature and waterfalls nearby. Good places to eat either by foot or just a few minutes away by motor bike. The best part of my stay was Ketut (one of the hosts) driving me around. She showed me the best places in the area which I otherwise would never have been to. My stay was really enriched by all of them and I can really recommend spending a few days here!

This place is full of love, and I can't recommend it enough! I spent 3 nights there and was sad to leave. Ketut took great care of me, and I had fun with her. She drove me around in her scooter, we went to the rice terraces to watch the sunset, to the Banyumala waterfall (beautiful) and to a wonderful cooking class with Ibu Jero (I recommend doing it, it's located in a beautiful place). She also took me to see Kadek's family's house. I loved it! The room was cosy and clean, the bed was comfortable and you can see the attention in every detail! I also rented a scooter one day and drove around, which is really worth it if you are comfortable at driving, the surroundings are beautiful and quiet. I also met Kadek and his wife at the end of my stay, such lovely people! He drove me to the waterfalls and picked me up, don't miss them on your visit! Overall, I had an unforgettable stay, they really make the difference! See you guys :)

Es ist eine wirklich besondere Unterkunft aufgrund der nahen Beziehung zum Gastgeber. Wenn man wirklich daran interessiert ist etwas über das echte balinesische Leben zu erfahren, ist Kadek und seine Familie der beste Anlaufpunkt dafür! Alle sind super lieb, doch es gibt hier keine Pflicht. Wenn man mag, kann man sich auch einfach einen Roller mieten und die Gegend auf eigene Faust erkunden. :)

Le personnel est absolument fantastique. Kadek et Ketut proposent des activités et sont disponibles pour vous aider avec les déplacements qui peuvent devenir compliqués lorsqu’on a pas de scooter. Le déjeuner est bon et s’accommode à votre horaire. Kadek propose une visite de son village familial, que je recommande fortement car c’est une expérience très authentique.

Staying at this homestay was the best decision of our Bali trip!
The host family is so welcoming and organizes everything for you: trips to the waterfalls or hiking, sunset and dinner recommendations, drop off in Munduk downtown.
Just relax and you will be taken care of - exactly what we wanted.
The dinner cooking class with the host family and the other guests was a Highlight!
The accommodation is also very clean and comfortable.

Kadek and his family welcomed us as their own family ! We could feel at home in his house.
It was not only an accommodation but a full experience and discovery of the Balinese culture :
- Kadek drove us to see the sunset in the rice fields and then to a restaurant with an amazing view on the valley
- He took us to a river to swim and we walked in the rice fields
- We did a cooking class to discover Balinese food and share moments with Kadek’s family
- We learnt to play traditional Balinese instrument to do some music, with Kadek’s neighbor
- We had the opportunity to do the water purification and learn more about it, the process, tradition and cie
- Kadek took us to show us the village temple, his family temple and family houses where they produce avocado, vanilla, coffee and more !
A huge thanks to Kadek and his family for these unforgettable moments.
We will come back, for sure !!

The host, Kadek, and his family are just wonderful. We had a very warm welcome and he personally drove us around to the best spots (food, sightseeing, everything) around Munduk. Kadek was also kind enough to invite us to his family compound and he taught us a lot about the culture and history. Staying here also means loads of singing and karaoke! It was the best way to start our Bali trip!!

Passionnés par leur culture et leur région ils ont plaisir à nous proposer des expérience authentiques variées : excursions dans la jungle pour voir des cascades ou des lacs , sunset au pieds des rizières.
