The staff weren't very professional. One was rude/abrupt and the second encounter was bizarre, she laughed when we asked why the water was cold

Pros:

Really old and tired decor. The previous occupants towels were in the wardrobe. The bathroom door didn't shut let alone lock and it smelt musty. It was just a place to lay our head on a long journey but for the price I would have expected it to be a lot better.

Good amount of parking and friendly staff. Great views

Cons:

The rooms were very basic, the menu options at the property were limited but food was good. You are quite far away from anywhere if you wanted to go out for food and drink.

Would I wished to stay longer, but the one day stay was very enjoyable.

The hotel is set up for oldies coach tours, dated but we'll maintained and clean.
Three course set menu on evening I stayed was exceptional value and decent quality.

Pros:

We had a room with the lake view, parking was in front of the hotel. Staff was very friendly. Everything was neat.

It is an older hotel, so you could hear noises from other rooms and outside.
