A brilliant city centre base to explore CT.
Pros:

Right in the heart of the action! Brilliantly situated - which means it is noisy at weekends but hey.
We had a huge and well equipped sitting/ kitchen area between two bedrooms (each with en-suite). More of an apartment than a hotel room.
Fab rooftop bar - if you are cool enough.
Super staff on front desk

Cons:

A cool city centre bolthole. Can’tcomplain about street noise when you are so close to the action. But take ear plugs in case!

Always a special experience
Pros:

The staff were amazing, thoughtful and professional. The rooftop bar welcome drink is a lovely touch and really sets the tone for a unique sray. The breakfast is hands down the best we have ever had at any hotel.

Cons:

The noise from surrounding clubs carries on until the early hours of the morning. It would probably not be an issue if you are staying on the opposite side of the hotel though, but our room was directly under the bar and overlooked the club that is across the road.

Pros:

I was in Cape Town for a conference at the CTICC, and instead of booking one of the big hotels right by the venue, my man and I booked The Trade Boutique Hotel. So glad we did.

The location is wonderful. The hotel is located in a lovely neighbourhood where you can step outside and walk to some great cafés like Stellski, Rosetta and Butter. That's not something to take for granted in Cape Town, and being able to wander out for a coffee made the whole stay feel relaxed. Getting to the conference at CTICC each morning couldn't have been easier. An Uber was never more than two or three minutes away, so the commute was completely stress-free.

The hotel itself is full of personality. It's not a cookie-cutter chain. It has real character and style, and our room was spotless, beautifully designed and comfortable. The rooftop bar with its pool was a real highlight, and the perfect place to unwind at the end of the day. Also loved the restaurant situated on the hotel premises –The Wes –with its Wes Anderson design and wonderful breakfast menu. This is where you'll have breakfast if you book the hotel with breakfast included. I have already literally dreamt of the breakfast I had here.

But what really made the stay was the staff. Warm, attentive, and genuinely going above and beyond at every turn.

If you're heading to Cape Town, whether for a conference or as a tourist, I can't recommend The Trade Boutique Hotel highly enough. We'll be back.

Ik heb hier een geweldig verblijf gehad.
Pros:

Adorei tudo!
Pros:
