Important information:

The road to the hotel is a 7 km long forest road. Please note that in winter roads can become icy. The hotel is not possible to find by satellite navigation. Please enter Bielsteinchaussee as your destination and follow the wooden signs marked with arrows.

Due to the condition of the house slippers or removable shoes are required. Outside shoes should be left in the hallway of the accommodation.

Guests are kindly requested to contact the hotel in advance using the telephone number on the booking confirmation. Staff will then direct guests to the property.

Please note the accommodation closes at 20:00. Check-in after 20:00 is only possible if arranged with the accommodation in advance. There are no extra rooms where guests can stay after 20:00.

Please note that the Dogs are permitted exclusively in selected double rooms. A fee of €35 per dog, per night applies.

Accomodatie niet of nauwelijks bereikbaar voor contact. Uiteindelijk hebben wij geannuleerd en toch kregen wij daags van te voren digitaal in _ check gegevens van hotelkamer toegezonden. Ook nu hadden ze onze annulering niet gelezen. .Na boeking kregen wij hele waslijst van regels over hoe wij daar moesten komen, inchecken, ontbijt etc etc. Toen hadden wij al zo iets van: wij gaan met vacantie en willen gewoon rust zonder gedoe Klap op de vuurpijl was toch wel dat er ook bij vermeld stond dat er geen of nauwelijks internet was en dit voor ons een groot issue is. Vandaar volgens regels, binnen 24 uur geannuleerd maar pas na 3 dagen bericht en ze gaven niet thuis, .Booking.com heeft ook geprobeerd deze accomodatie te pakken te krijgen en dit lukte uiteindelijk na 2 tot 3 dagen. Maar hotel en Booking.com hebben ons in de steek gelaten en geen geld retour. Als je niet bereikbaar wilt zijn en niet betrouwbaar wilt zijn zou ik zeggen boek daar je overnachting

Super Lage mitten im Wald,ca.8km von Wernigerode weg,die letzten km sehr vorsichtig fahren unebene Waldwege

Unieke locatie en ervaring in Harz
Pros:

Absoluut een unieke locatie midden in de natuur. Als je er met de auto wilt komen dan zul je eerst een kilometer of 6 over onverharde wegen moeten rijden (zeker als je in het donker aankomt iets om rekening mee te houden). Het ontbijt is uitstekend en het hotel is een perfecte uitvalsbasis voor meerdere dagen in de natuur.

Cons:

Het inchecken vond ik wat verwarrend (ik kreeg een aantal codes, meer wat je bij een AirBnB verwacht). Let er op dat het niet (altijd) mogelijk is om 's avonds te eten bij het hotel, en het dorp is anderhald uur lopen of een lange tocht met de auto. Dit hotel is niet voor iedereen maar als je even weg wilt zijn in de natuur is het de moeite waard.

Dejligt hotel med god beliggenhed.
Pros:

Lækker morgenmad, super beliggenhed i smukke omgivelser

Cons:

Vi boede på øverste etage, man kunne desværre ikke trække gardiner for de små vinduer i børneværelset, og det var svært at få frisk luft derind da der var lås på alle vinduer, man kunne evt. overveje en anden løsning.

Dejligt roligt sted, sødt personale. Vi kommer helt sikkert tilbage.

Cons:

Den sidste 1 km grusvej derop kunne godt have været lidt bedre. Mange 10 cm dybe huller med diameter på 1m og krat der rager ud til midten af vejen.
