Fantastic improvement on the last time I was here years ago, first class rooms, super comfy bed

No microwave that i could see, really helps when arriving late after work and need a meal heated up.

Cons:

This property is definitely overpriced for a hotel in a country town. Also inconvenient because you need to park on the street and it takes time to go back and forth when arriving and leaving. If visiting Cootamaundra again I would not stay here, I'd choose one of the motels or a caravan park.

There were some unexplained wet patches on the carpet and the room did have an odd smell. I am assuming that this was not normal.

Pros:

The staff blame everything on Booking.com about our bookings. We have to pay twice and more money cause I cancelled our bookings meeting at the room we wanted.

Clean and spacious…just need the town clock to stop chiming overnight
