An unforgettable experience — but not a 5-star hotel
Pros:

The experience itself is absolutely amazing. If you love nature, breathtaking views, peace and quiet, and monkeys visiting your balcony, this place is very special. It feels remote, authentic and far away from the crowds. I would give the experience 10/10. If you are looking for luxury brands, polished 5-star service and being pampered, this is probably not the place for you — but if you value nature and atmosphere, you will love it.

Cons:

The hotel advertises itself as 5-star, which in my opinion is very misleading. In terms of facilities and hotel standards, it is nowhere near a traditional 5-star property. That said, the star rating almost doesn’t matter here because the experience is what makes the place special. Also, the location is quite isolated, so you will normally need a tuk-tuk to get to Ella.

Super mooi uitzicht, fantastisch lief en zorgzaam personeel die echt en oprecht voor je klaar staan!

Cons:

Niets, goed het is geen 5 sterren zoals in Nederland, maar het is simpelweg goed!

יש להם כמה חדרים בדרגוות שונות , בלילה הראשון ישנו בחדר למעלה עם הבריכה עם מזגן ובלילה השני ישנו בחדר למטה מעץ מלא ושיש אליו המון מדרגות אבל המשפחה עזרה להביא את המזוודות, המיטות והמצעים מעולים ונקיים

Prachtig sfeervol verblijf in de natuur
Pros:

Mooie locatie met uitzicht over de groene vallei. Prachtig en zorgvuldig gebouwd. Heel sfeervol. De eigenaren zijn supervriendelijk en behulpzaam! Goed om te weten is dat het een stukje buiten Ella ligt en dat het een redelijk open ruimte is, waardoor er ongedierte binnen kan komen, in met name de badkamer, en dat je met heel veel trapjes naar beneden moet. Voor ons alle drie geen probleem, alleen maar rustig en midden in de natuur! Bijzondere ervaring!

Pros:

Wir wurden sehr freundlich vom Personal empfangen. Es ist ein Familienunternehmen. Alle gaben sich viel Mühe, damit es uns an nichts fehlt.
Unser Baumhaus war schlichtweg genial. Von der Hauptstrasse geht eine steile Treppe zum Bungalow runter. In Mitten des Dschungels konnten wir uns sehr gut von den Aktivitäten erholen.
Neben dem Hotel gibt es ein feines Restaurant. Bei diesem kann man das Essen Take Away mit zum Zimmer nehmen.

Cons:

Es braucht dringend ein TukTuk zur Stadt.Ella (ca. 5min).Dies kann via App oder dem Inhaber gebucht werden.

Pros:

The room is very good quailty and both the room and the terrace are quite large. The beds are very comfortable.
It was good to sit out on the terrace and relax on a rainy day since it is protected. The hosts are very friendly and helpful.

Cons:

We were under the impression that this is a kind of hotel with different larger rooms/bungalows, based on the pictures. The property is run more like a homestay so we were offered breakfast in the host's home which was friendly gesture but we would have preferred to keep to ourselves.
The property is a bit far from "downtown" Ella, down in the valley, so need to take a car or tuktuk to get to the restaurants and shops.

Tolles Ambiente, sehr nette Gastgeber, super Hanglage mit toller Aussicht - Affen und 2 grosse Vögel kamen regelmässig vorbei

Cons:

Nach Ella sind es 5min mit dem Tuktuk den Berg hoch - das wussten wir aber und hat uns nichts ausgemacht

Pros:

We had an absolutely wonderful stay there.. What truly made the experience exceptional was the host familly— every single person I encountered was incredibly kind, professional, and genuinely helpful. They created such a warm and welcoming atmosphere that made me feel right at home.
The cleanliness of the apartment was also outstanding. My room was spotless, well-maintained, and very comfortable, which made it easy to relax and fully enjoy my stay.
I highly recommend this place to anyone. I would definitely love to come back!

A great day, and the perfect way to experience Ella.
Pros:

It is a unique property - it really felt like we were staying in a tree house. The views are spectacular.

Cons:

There are lots of steps - totally fine for us, but more of a challenge for people with mobility issues.

Pros:

Die Unterkunft ist aussergewöhnlich und findet man nicht überall. Alles ist sehr familiär und die Besitzer sind sehr freundlich, zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Wir waren mit unseren Kindern dort (6 und 4 Jahre) und alle haben es geliebt. Wir werden diesen tollen Aufenthalt nicht so schnell wieder vergessen.
