Vieux et défraîchi
De grandes chambres, confortable et plutôt cosy.
Environnement calme, parking et restaurant partenaire juste à coté de l'hôtel.
Le restaurant est par ailleurs très correct.
Un hôtel au charme un peu "à l'ancienne" mais qui tient ses promesses.
Le buffet du petit déjeuner est un peu chiche. Il est complété par une carte à la commande (inclus dans le forfait petit déjeuner).

Collé sur l’autoroute moins de 10 m de distance entre la fenêtre et l’autoroute. Pas de climatisation donc fenêtre ouverte, beaucoup de bruit. Lit peu confortable. Environnement pas agréable vu la proximité autoroute. Pas ce que j’imaginais.
Good location for travelling in Central Belt of Scotland. Although on the edge of an industrial area and close to M9 motorway there was relatively little noise. Breakfast was a good way to start the day and staff were pleasant.
Parts of the hotel are rather "tired" and could do with some refurbishment. Most of the bedrooms are in the Garden Annexe and for an evening meal you need to visit Cooks (across Car Park). No problem in good weather but might be a problem in wet weather.

The facility was lovely and the staff were very helpful. We requested a room change due to my husband not being able to do the stairs in the manor and the receptionist was very accommodating and was able to sort this out for us, despite the manor being very busy. Lovely people to deal with.
We ate at Cooks Restaurant every night and the food was delicious with large portions. The host was amazing, so friendly and fun to talk to. We even managed to get a copy of the Potato and Leek soup (which was divine) from the chef Anastasia.
Would recommend both the manor and the restaurant.
I only had 2 issues while there.
1. The mattress of our bed sagged in the middle.
2. There were 2 fire alarms (false ones as it turned out) which we immediately evacuated for and neither time did anyone come to the garden wing to advise all was okay. We had to seek them out ourselves to find out they were false alarms.
great location , friendly staff, comfy beds, rooms and bathrooms are spotless. lovely evening meal at the adjoining pub/restaurant. Fantastic breakfast. Would definitely stay again

Vriendelijk personeel, ruime kamer. Goede locatie als je de volgende dag vanaf Edinburgh moet vliegen.
Restaurant wat erbij zit is goed.
Gedateerde inrichting, badkamer zat vol met schimmelplekken. Matrassen zijn erg hard. Ontbijt erg Schots georiënteerd. Er is wel iets anders, maar daar is niet veel keuze in.
Staff pleasant and room etc was clean
