Good stay
Pros:

Good view, close to station and 10mins to interlaken by train. Good breakfast and helpful staff. Rooms quite spacious at affordable price

Cons:

hotel is quite up the hill and its pretty steep. They provide check in & check out shuttle service to the Brienz station but on the other days you would need a car or a taxi if you are travelling with kids or an older person. Unfortunately, Taxi is quite expensive in this region.

vertrekken was het meest prettige deel van het verblijf

diner was goed, mits je van aziatische keuken houdt

Cons:

al het andere. accommodatie is verouderd en slecht onderhouden. Het was erg warm weer tijdens ons verblijf -uiteraard niet iets wat de accommodatie aan te rekenen is- maar op de kamer ontbreekt elke vorm van zonwering en de gordijnen zijn van een flinterdun stofje. De kamer was dan ook een bakoven, enkel voorzien van een oude lawaaierige ventilator. Na zonsondergang luchten kan, maar omdat het hotel ook geen horren kent, wel met enige overlast van insecten.
Klacht bij de receptie haalt niets uit, het personeel kan of wil niet echt behulpzaam zijn.
De kamer is bovendien slecht schoongemaakt, de badkamer is piepklein en het ontbijt is een slecht cafetaria nog onwaardig. En dat bij een prijs die ook naar Zwitserse begrippen bovengemiddeld is. Alles dusdanig slecht dat we na één nacht zijn vertrokken, ondanks een boeking voor 3 nachten.

Zimmer mit schönem Ausblick auf den Brienzersee, Haus in erhöhter Lage in einem kleinen bewaldeten Quartier

Cons:

Frühstück mit Kaffeeautomat, welcher das Prädikat Kaffee nicht annähernd einhält, Frühstückauslage ohne Liebe einfach auf den Teller gelegt, Rührei war kalte Pampe, nur hart gekochte Eier. Restaurant nicht über den ganzen Tag geöffnet, daher kein Zimmerservice möglich.

Subject: Request for Full Refund and Investigation

Dear Booking.com Customer Support,

I would like to file a formal complaint regarding my recent stay and request a full refund.

I booked and paid for this property in advance through Booking.com. Unfortunately, upon arrival, I discovered that the room I received was significantly different from the photos and description on the Booking.com listing. The bathroom was much smaller than advertised, and the overall room did not match what I had booked.

When I entered the room, I also found an empty water bottle left on the table, which made me question whether the room had been properly cleaned and inspected before my arrival.

The check-in experience was extremely disappointing. The receptionist was unfriendly, unwelcoming, and unprofessional. Instead of trying to help, she made me feel like I was an inconvenience. When I explained that I was not comfortable with the room and wanted to check out, there was no apology, no empathy, and no attempt to offer another room or resolve the situation.

As a result, I checked out immediately on the same day I checked in. I did not stay overnight at the hotel and moved to another hotel on the same day because I was not comfortable staying at this property.

Furthermore, the hotel later issued an invoice stating that I stayed until 1 July. This is incorrect. I checked out on the day of arrival, and I can provide proof that I checked into another hotel on the same day.

I have attached:
- Photos of the room I received.
- Photos showing the condition of the room upon arrival.
- The incorrect invoice issued by the hotel.
- Proof of my check-in at another hotel on the same day.

I respectfully request that Booking.com investigate this case, compare the advertised room with the room I actually received, review the incorrect invoice, and issue a full refund.

Schöner Aufenthalt in Brienz
Pros:

Eine super Aussicht auf den Brienzer See, sehr schöne Anlage bzw. Park, im Hotel überall kleine Dekorationen, Abendessen Angebot 👍 und auf der Terrasse bei schönem Wetter gut, Parkplätze ausreichend vorhanden, Personal freundlich, in 10min läuft man zur Rothornbahn,

Cons:

Unser Zimmer hat keine Klimaanlage obwohl unterm Dach und mit Holz ausgestattet, ein Lüfter stand im Zimmer der es ein wenig erträglicher machte, hatten auch Tage mit 33 Grad 🥵, Frühstück Angebot nicht einladend von der Qualität- aber super Blick auf den See,

This is one of the BEST places to stay in Switzerland .
Pros:

I LOVED IT ! The place is beautiful . Its such a beautiful and peaceful location . The rooms are good . The staff is very good especially Joe , the receptionist, she is very very helpful and kind . I will definitely recommend this place and would stay here myself again if i visit again .
Just one problem and that is if you check-in after 7pm you have to carry your stuff all the up yourself thats a bit difficult.

Ein gelungenes Wochenende.
Pros:

Das Hotel liegt leicht erhöht im Zentrum von Brienz und bietet eine schöne Sicht auf den See. Dazu beigetragen hat das upgrading auf ein Zimmer mit Seesicht. Schöne Zimmer, grosse Gartenanlage. Freundliches Receptionspersonal.

Cons:

Das Hotel ist ein internationales Hotel Asiatisch-Englisch-Deutsch. Einigermassen Englisch sprechen hilft, besonders beim Servicepersonal im Restaurant.
