The only good thing about this place was restaurant. One of the best Indian restaurants in switzerland.
Location was good for a view, but if you have people who are not able to walk up the hill and have no car, you won’t get any taxi to go up from station to the hotel. You can get hotel transport but you need to pay (except check in and check out), also have to inform couple of hours in advance which is always not feasible.
The sad thing about this hotel is - they are doing absolute bare minimum. Despite being in such a great location and having a so much potential, the hotel is disappointing. Everything looks run down, not clean rooms, bathroom smells of mold. Breakfast not good at all. I understand it’s a continental breakfast but at least they could add some fresh fruits and one homemade cake. Staffs at the reception also seems rude, or racist I couldn’t tell.

Nice, spacious room. Our room was not one with view towards the lake but the breakfast room had a great view to the lake and the village. Kind personnel, available parking and very beautiful hotel garden. The family room had sufficient utensils in the kitchen so we were able to cook something in the room. In general it was family friendly hotel and a nice stay to explore the magnificent area around Brienz lake.
The cost was quite high for this room, but the accommodation in the area in general is expensive.
The pool was clean and with nice view to the mountains but the decoration was a bit outdated.
There were also a few things to improve in the room to make it perfect, ie there was a clothes stand in the room that was not stable and it was ready to break.

الاطلالة جيده الا حد ما من البلكونه ولا يوجد خصوصيه ممتازه جدا اذا كان فيه احد بجوارك
The area is beautiful, and the hotel is in a really peaceful location. There's a pool, but the facilities seem upgraded from slightly dated ones.
Staff was funny, helpful, and nice.
The rooms were really nice and very spacious
It's quite a but uphill, but they offer transport for check-in and check-out.
Maybe I expected more from the location itself due to the way premium setting, but all in all there are no complaints.
La vue est superbe et la chambre spacieuse et propre, la piscine interieur et le jaccuzzi sur la terrasse.
La localisation de l'hotel, c'est en hauteur donc pas tres pratique pour tout faire a pied avec des enfants.
Le service en general, les personnes a l'acceuil ne sont pas agreables, a 400 CHF la nuit on nous a refuse de mettre un lit bebe gratuitement. Clairement le rapport qualite/prix n'y est pas.

Amazing view, great on site restaurant, friendly staff, pet friendly, and has a decent breakfast.
Minor complaints but there is no air conditioning. You also have to walk up/down a steep hill to get to the property from the main town.

The room we had was beautifully designed and spacious and included a lake view with hot pot. It was a gorgeous facility everywhere you went and the breakfast was nice. There was a cute playground right off the breakfast room too which was nice for kids.
We stayed with our 1 year old and so didn't get to fully take advantage of all this hotel had to offer including the pool and sauna and restaurant sadly. It would be a lovely stay for a couples getaway. I also wasn't aware I could get a shuttle to the hotel on the way in so we walked with all of our stuff which was a bummer. The hot pot was more luke warm but I think that's what it's supposed to be, it's not a traditional hot tub I don't think. Also the air conditioning is really just two fans but the nights were cool enough that it was easy to open a window and turn the fan on to cool the room for the night before closing windows.
The view outside of the window was like a dream come true! The most beautiful blue lake and towering mountains. Staff were super kind and went the extra mile to celebrate my birthday (balloons, card, and towel creations). Super helpful to have a free transfer back to the station (only realised this after lugging the suitcases up a hill). Restaurant has an amazing view!
Unfortunately, for someone with a dairy and nut allergy, there was not much to eat at breakfast. Had informed staff at booking, but not much provided (bit of bread, cucumber, ham, boiled egg). It was disappointing.
