Wir haben die Unterkunft etwas kurzfristig gebucht. Ich war dann sehr froh, als wir eine Zusage bekommen haben. In der Nacht vor der Ankunft haben wir dann jedoch kurzfristig eine Nachricht vom Vermieter bekommen, dass die Unterkunft doch nicht verfügbar ist und wir wieder stornieren müssten. So mussten wir dann im Zug am Weg nach Tokyo eine neue Unterkunft suchen. Außerdem wurde die Buchung vom Vermieter nicht storniert, sondern er hat uns angewiesen, dass wir die Buchung stornieren müssten, da er das anscheinend nicht konnte. War alles sehr mühsam und ärgerlich

Pros:

Very comfortable home - very clean with comfortable beds. Very convenient to have a washing machine in the bathroom. Close to Ueno train station which makes transit from Narita airport easy and good connections to all areas of Tokyo.

Pros:

The property was spacious enough for a family of 2 adults and 3 kids and located in a nice and quiet neighbourhood that was walking distance to the train station and lots of eateries.

Cons:

The toilet smelled of urine from the time we checked in and the bath tub drainage was clogged with a lot of dirty hair that looked like it had been there for a while. I had to remove it on my own to be able to use the bath tub because water would not drain otherwise.

Pros:

Emplacement au calme mais proche de la grande gare de ueno très pratique!
Chambres de taille correcte.
Douche fonctionnelle très bien
Équipement de cuisine et climatisation très bien.

Cons:

Il faut savoir que la maison est sur 3 niveaux, WC rt sdb au rdc et chambre au 2ème, il faut être en bonne forme physique.

Great house & location
Pros:

The property is conveniently located near Ueno Station for connections all around Tokyo, and it is easy to reach the Asakusa and Skytree areas via foot or train. The rooms were clean and the house is spacious compared to other accommodation within Japan. Towels and toiletries were provided. We had a great stay.

Cons:

The toilet is on the ground floor which is a little inconvenient for those sleeping on the third floor. But you can choose to sleep on the sofa bed if its too inconvenient for elderly etc.

Overall, the stay was pleasant thanks to the cleanliness and location.
Pros:

The location was good—although a bit far from Ueno station, it was closer to Shin-Okachimachi station, which made getting around easier. The house itself was clean, quiet, and well-equipped with all the essentials such as amenities and kitchen utensils.

Cons:

One drawback was that the bathroom and toilet are located on the first floor, and there’s no heater on that level. During my stay, the weather was quite cold, so going downstairs at night was uncomfortable. Since there is only one toilet in the house, this setup can be inconvenient, especially for nighttime use.

Additionally, the staircase was very narrow, which made it difficult to carry large luggage up and down. This could be challenging for guests with heavy bags.

Comfortable and convenient for family and friend.
Pros:

This was a very comfortable and convenient place to stay. The area is very quiet and yet it is close to several public transport options. The facilities are ideal for families or small groups. Two double beds and a single fold out bed. I would stay here again.

Cons:

Stairs are narrow and steep. Have to be careful with luggage. Would not suit someone with knee problems. It helped my fitness though!

Great location, clean, comfortable. Loved it
Pros:

We stayed with 2 adults and 2 kids. The house is a short walk to Ueno station and restaurants, Ginza line for Asakusa and Ginza, Oedo line for Shinjuku. It is a quiet street. The house is very clean and beds were comfortable. I recommend for a family or 2 couples.

Cons:

As others have said, the staircase probably isn’t great for people with mobility issues or maybe toddlers. No other complaints.
