an old building\hotel of great character. Easy paid parking outside. Walk straight into the centre

We loved our room. Beautifully renovated to keep with the character of the hotel. Aircon kept it cool.

Pros:

La situation est parfaite pour flâner dans le vieux Sarlat. L établissement est très propre et le petit déjeuner varié et de qualité

Cons:

L accès à la chambre un peu laborieux si vous avez de gros bagages (ascenseur minuscule et escaliers obligatoires pour accéder à la chambre)

Disappointing. Check which room you have been allocated for accessability.

proximity to the centre of the town.

Cons:

The room was very difficult to access with luggage, made by difficult steps. Had I known the room position and layout I would have chosen a different hotel. Breakfast was very poor for the price and cold meats/cheese were left uncovered and many flies were on the food.

Only one night so tolerable. Would have asked for a room move if staying longer

Excellent location, car park across the road.

Cons:

Room was at best quaint, but probably best described as pokey. Top floor so up a couple of flights of stairs after the lift

The hotel matches the spirit of Sarlat - medieval history, unique character, and great hospitality
Pros:

Location, location, and location! It is located in the center of the old town, but it is calm and quiet. Very friendly staff and historic building turned into a hotel.

Cons:

Not much ventilation and very heavy air in the common areas (mostly hallways) of the hotel. But I guess it comes with the territory of older buildings.

Très bien, nous avions une chambre à part, uniquement accessible par la rue avec une petite terrasse a l'abri a des regards, ce qui était très agréable. Le petit déjeuner était bon.
