We had a wonderful stay at this unique hotel in Qingdao. The building, which was once the Finnish and Norwegian Embassy, has a beautiful European atmosphere full of history and charm. Staying here felt like stepping back in time while still enjoying all the modern comforts.

Our room was spotless, spacious, and very comfortable. The location was perfect, close to the beach, beautiful parks, and many of Qingdao’s most famous attractions.

The staff were exceptionally kind, welcoming, and always happy to help with anything we needed. Their hospitality made our stay even more memorable.

We absolutely loved the unique character of this hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic and unforgettable stay in Qingdao. We would definitely choose this hotel again on our next visit. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

八大关景区内欧式海景别墅，颜值超高有百年历史，三楼露台看海视野绝了。管家服务贴心，位置绝佳，出门就是海和景点，私密性好，度假居住体验满分，强烈推荐。

Райский уголок. Очень внимательный и дружелюбный персонал.

Приятное историческое место в отличном районе. До двух пляжей можно дойти за 8-10 минут. С одного (номер 3) вид на ночные небоскрёбы с подсветкой, второй небольшой и очень приятный для купания. Историческое здание, где приятно провести время. Хороший персонал. Отличный кофе.

Lovely period stay, evocative and comfortable. The room with the sauna was particularly nice and spacious. Beds were comfortable and the shower hot and good pressure.

Comfortable, clean rooms in a historic part of Qingdao. Very quiet location, and the Qingdao coastal path is just a few minutes walk away.

It's just out of the hustle and bustle of the city, but still close. A charming European styled area, near beautiful beach areas

落在八大关景区内，离第二、第三浴场都不远，地理位置优越，工作人员都很热情，早餐简单却用心，满足了对于民宿的期待。

The location of the property is really amazing , it is within 5 minutes walk to the beach . The streets are clean filled with amazing smell of acacia and other deciduous trees. Rooms are neat and tidy , you can feel the historic heritage in the air . The owners of the hotel are lovely and friendly people always ready to come to your rescue ( the door handle of the bathroom came off and the owner fixed it within 20 minutes ). They served European style breakfasts 🍳 accompanied by superb coffee coming from the genuine italian coffee machine. Whenever I asked for a refill of coffee , the kind owner made so many cups of coffee for us without charging any extra money for it . In general , we genuinely enjoyed our stay at this hotel and we definitely would like to come back here any time soon . That was a splendid experience .

Great coffee served in the hotel, micro brewery 3 min away. Hotel terrace with ocean view. Coffee place with rooftop bar and ocean view across the street (2 min).

Overall, a great location to arrive/depart, relax AND explore the city. Beach(es) 5 min away, Metro Stop 5 min away, with direct connection to both relevant train stations (qingdao and qingdao north) as well as May 4 square (dining, shopping). Old town in reach by cab and metro. Olympic area and highest building with City Observatory 1 km away (nice walk).

One Note: Old narrow streets in the area get congested quickly. Metro is an attractive alternative.

Next time in Qingdao, we will make sure to book here again.

Excellent location with easy access to badaguan and the building itself is a historical heritage with some modern modification

Die Pension ist in Strandnähe und ruhig. Morgens sind die Strände noch ruhig. Abends kann man das chinesische Strandleben erleben und dort auch essen gehen.
