This place by far exceeded my expectations. It wa a staycation for me while my hubby & stepson stayed at home for scary movie boy's nights. Unfortunately, the first day they double booked the last king room and had to switch me to a double queen which I didn't mind so I stayed another night. I stayed in this room for 2 days & we even got to see the fireworks right from the window!! Great 4th of July.
The next night my husband was going to be staying as since he dropped his son offl Since we originally booked a king we asked if we could get the king room & they actually upgraded us to the Peleton room! (side note: all rooms we stayed in had decent views, 3 out of 4 had great views). The Peleton room had the bike, exercise balls, a yoga mat, resistance bands and more. This brings me to the gym, which in itself was ABSOLUTELY amazing!
The next day they let us stay in the same room until about 3pm until our next room was ready; a regular king room with a nice view of the city. Nothing much different but it was great. We left around 10am the next morning.

Staff:
All the staff were amazing, they did their best to help us get the room we originally paid for even though we'd practically forgotten. They also had no issue bringing up coffee and such. Also, shout out to the young girl at the front desk who helped me out when my foot was extremely swollen due to a medication change. She did not have to and was super busy but went out of her way to help.
Snacks:
Kind of expensive butttttttttttttt delicious so you might as well get em.
Other:
Absolutely loved the personalized TV greeting, all the different lights (reading lights on the bed, lamp lights on the bed, actual lamps. Plenty of ways to get the mood going!
The elevator sometimes would completely skip the floor you pressed so you'd have to go up to the highest floor pressed and press it again going back down. The snacks were a bit expensive ($7 each), and the restaraunt was epensive as well.
Beautiful, clean and centrally located. Walkable to restaurants and bars downtown.
The hotel was absolutely beautiful. As soon as you walked in, there was a burst of essential oil smells that made you feel automatically at home. The location was great, you could literally walk to just about everything. In a car, places were nice more than 5/10 mins away.
There was a smell in the halls at times, like a sewer problem. Thankfully, you could not smell it in your room.
Location was exactly what I wanted for the parade.
There was a leak in the ceiling that was making puddles on the entry we told the front desk, and the person acted like we were bothering him on his personal phone. There was no parking when we arrived. We were told to use the "free" deck across the street. It was not free we paid $28 for parking. Also, bedside light nor charger worked.
Our room was across from a prison. The shower needed repair
The facility and the staff were excellent. I thought it was very overpriced but we needed to be downtown so that seemed to be the best available option. But that doesn't diminish the quality of the facility and the courtesy of the staff.
The price
I like how it’s walking distance to everything, especially when we went to the concert. It was just two blocks over.
Can’t say anything I didn’t like about it. I thought it was a nice place .
The rooms were so big and spacious. The beds were sooooo comfortable. I slept so go. I never moved, I never tossed & turned. I rested so well in this bed. That was the highlight. The ambiance of the hotel was also top tier.
The shower could have had better water pressure. They did not have a ironing board or iron in the rooms. They do however have a powerful steamer. They supplied a iron and ironing board upon request.
The cleanliness and location of the Hotel was perfect for our stay. My son had a very large AAU basketball tournament that weekend and we were in a few minutes walk. The first thing we noticed was the wonderful smell throughout the entire property. The rooms were comfortable and the hotel staff were friendly. I did like the valet parking available since downtown Raleigh is very tedious to find parking.
The rooftop bar and restaurant was not accommodating at all. The 21 and over for Fridays and Saturdays caused us to find other dinner options since our son is 15. The one time that I went there, I was never even spoken to and stood in front of the bar for 10 minutes before I gave up and went to the hotel lobby for snacks and drinks. The other bar on the main floor closed exactly at 10pm and unfortunately for me I had arrived at 10:02pm and the bartender was very firm in not even making me a drink to take up to my room.
This particular hotel was beautiful and we loved the atmosphere but I will say that it’s not entirely family friendly.
Super clean and just all around beautiful property! Access to good food and not far from other shopping needs!
Location was great, good parking option in the area. Cool feature with speakers in the bathroom mirror. The room we got was super spacious which was a very refreshing compared to alot of hotels now days.
The bed was way to soft. If you have a king bed meant for two persons it needs to be firmer so you don't end up in a hole in the middle. We booked with breakfast but when the booking went through there was no breakfast included in the end. Disappointed.
Location is perfect. Very comfortable rooms.
Very central . Clean and great staff
