Pros:

It was absolutely beautiful - charming to be such an integral part of the village, and stunningly restored. The food was good - there was a lively atmosphere, and the views were wonderful.

Cons:

It was really disappointing that the pool closed at 5pm when the sun was still high in the sky. With a check in time of 3pm we had only just arrived and got settled and there wasn’t time for more than a quick swim before it closed. It is quite a slog down/uphill from other parts of the village - it might have been nice to provide a map to help guests find their way around. Information in the rooms was lacking. Also, the ‘gym’ was not a gym - no problem, but it shouldn’t be sold as such.

L’emplacement est exceptionnel et la vue absolument remarquable : c’est incontestablement le grand atout de Zoe Hora. Le site et l’architecture sont magnifiques, avec une décoration séduisante au premier regard. Mention particulière au personnel d’entretien, toujours souriant, aimable et attentionné.

Cons:

Malheureusement, l’expérience hôtelière n’est pas au niveau du lieu ni des tarifs pratiqués. Zoe Hora nous a davantage semblé être un restaurant bénéficiant d’une vue exceptionnelle qu’un véritable hôtel attentif au confort de ses résidents.
Notre chambre présentait plusieurs défauts importants : fuites d’eau au plafond à plusieurs endroits et douche inondant systématiquement la salle de bain. Le calme était également très insuffisant : passages incessants près du parking, bips des buggies électriques, bruit des cuisines et même démarrage du groupe électrogène en pleine nuit.
La piscine est sous-dimensionnée et dispose de trop peu de transats. Plus surprenant encore, ceux-ci commencent à être retirés dès 17h afin d’installer les tables du restaurant autour de la piscine, donnant clairement le sentiment que l’activité de restauration est privilégiée au détriment des clients de l’hôtel.
Enfin, l’accueil s’est montré froid et peu à l’écoute. J’ai demandé à trois reprises qu’un manager vienne dans notre chambre afin de constater directement ces problèmes et d’en discuter avec nous. À chaque fois, on m’a assuré que quelqu’un viendrait. Personne ne s’est présenté durant nos 48 heures de séjour.
C’est particulièrement regrettable : nous souhaitions justement échanger directement avec l’établissement et lui donner la possibilité de répondre à nos remarques avant de publier un avis.

Hello to everyone who is amazed by Zoe Hora after seeing the beautiful photos online. Unfortunately, my experience showed me that pictures do not always reflect the reality of the service, staff, and overall experience. This was my first visit to Zoe Hora, and I arrived with high expectations. Unfortunately, the problems started before I even entered the hotel.
When I arrived, I wanted to park my car in a particular parking space, but the parking attendant told me that I could not park there because those spaces were reserved for the managers of the building. Apparently, the managers’ cars needed to be protected more than the cars of paying guests.
The attendant then directed me toward another parking space, signaling that I had enough room. Following his directions, I ended up damaging my car.
After that, I moved the car to another parking spot. Instead of acknowledging what had just happened or trying to help, the same attendant told me once again to move my car — for the third time — and directed me toward a space extremely similar to the one where I had already damaged my car.
At that point, I refused. What happened next was even more disturbing.
The parking attendant approached me aggressively, put his hand behind him near his back pocket, and made an extremely offensive gesture toward me that I understood as an insult involving my mother.
I immediately went to reception and asked them to review the security-camera footage. I specifically requested that the manager be present because, even though the cameras apparently have no audio, the attendant’s gestures and behavior should have been clearly visible.
After explaining everything, I simply asked reception to allow my family to check in while I explained the situation to the manager.
Then came another surprise.
I was told: “Your room is not ready yet. Housekeeping made a mistake and did not clean your room.”
It was already 18:00.

מדובר במלון במיקום יוצא מן הכלל שצופה למפרץ, החדרים גדולים ומרווחים מהרגיל, נקיים ומאובזרים. בריכת שחייה אינפיניטי, צופה לים. ארוחת הבוקר היתה נהדרת והיה בה שירות נפלא של המלצרים.

הזמנו חדר עם נוף לים, בפועל קיבלנו פיסת חלון מעל גגות עם קצה של ים...... זאת הטעייה מכוונת. בריכת השחייה נסגרת בשעה 17.00 כאשר יש עדיין שמש ואלו השעות היפות ביותר לשהות בה וזה גורם לחוסר נעימות, מה גם שבריכת השחייה המקורה אליה נשלחנו אינה נעימה לשהות ולא מזמינה כלל. עם הגיענו ביקשנו לאכול במסעדה של המלון- היה שם בלגן, חיכינו מעל ל20 דקות כדי לשבת בשולחן, עד שהרידו עבורנו שולחן גדול שכבר סיימו לאכול בו... המנות היו קטנות מאוד והשירות דורש שיפור.
ידוע לי שלא יעשו כלום עם הביקורת שלנו. רושמת שאחרים יזהרו... לא הייתי חוזרת, בטוחה שיש מקומות שמכבדים עצמם יותר.
