Misleading advertising

Reformer Pilates studio advertised but did not exist website only updated to reflect this after we booked the hotel
Gym listed as a facility but was under construction website only updated to reflect this after we booked the hotel

Room 112 privacy and safety

Room overlooked an active construction site with workers having direct line of sight into the bathroom (glass walls) of our room.
Shower was incomplete with a hole in the wall and not watertight, causing water to leak onto wooden flooring
Damaged, lifted floorboards caused me to trip and injure my toe, a serious health and safety concern
The hotel remedy for fixing was a rug placed over the damage which did not fix the safety issue
Another room move only offered on the final evening, making it impractical on the final night of our stay.

In-room amenities below luxury standard

Only four hangers were provided for two guests over four nights; we requested for more but was dismissed.
The Basic travel hairdryer rather than a proper luxury one.
Single plug socket on only one side of the bed

Restaurant issues

Requested poolside table twice in advance; but we were seated elsewhere on both occasions
On the first visit, only moved after repeated requests, and the experience was disrupted by external visitors taking photos and slow service
The External/social media guests were prioritised over hotel guests.
Pool closed at 6pm (sometimes guests moved from 5pm) for restaurant setup this was not disclosed at booking

Je kon geen thee bij het ontbijt krijgen - toiletpapier werd niet aangevuld - misschien ook een shuttle aanbieden van en naar de luchthaven en een taxiservice als je s avonds ergens naartoe wil
Er is geen aparte lunchkaart/gerechten - is dezelfde kaart als voor 's avonds waardoor je weinig keuze hebt voor lunch - en er is zeer weinig in de buurt waar je even snel kan gaan lunchen
Er is ook geen drankenkaart ter beschikking aan het zwembad of aan de bars waardoor je niet weet wat voor drankjes je wel en niet kan bestellen....
hotel is totaal niet geschikt als je niet goed te been bent - heel veel trappen !

La télé ne fonctionne pas , ni la douche , et la carte du restaurant très très restreint

Almost have in terms of final touches but our jr suite had dirty jacuzzi pipes for days, light fixtures, left partially complete w with open wires and room furniture almost complete but pieces damaged or half done.

The service in the restaurant doesn’t match the food standards of the overall standard of the hotel. Perhaps a lack of training. The staff were very friendly though.

It's full of irritatingly self obsessed travel influencers photographing themselves posing around the place. Rather nauseating - though I suppose you get those anywhere nice these days.

Sky high (overpriced) restaurant food. We opted out and walked down to a local Taverna to get a slice of real life.

The only downside for us was the verity of food in the restaurant at launch, the food was very luxurious and sometimes we just wanted a simple food by the pool.

Service was inconsistent and didn’t match the luxury positioning. Tables were left uncleared, basics like salt and oil had to be requested, and staff attentiveness was lacking. The spa was underwhelming — saunas barely hot, salt room closed, steam room ineffective — and treatments advertised on the website weren’t available. The restaurant was overpriced for small, lukewarm portions. No property orientation on arrival, no towel hooks, no full-length mirror. The plastic fragrance dispenser felt completely out of place. Pool closed at 6pm and no local beers were available.

The arrival experience could have been handled much better. We were not allowed to drive close to the property to unload our luggage and were asked to park and wait for a shuttle. After waiting for around five minutes in the sun with little communication, we eventually started walking downhill with our luggage ourselves. A member of staff only arrived to assist once we had nearly reached the main building.
Communication was difficult as some staff members spoke very limited English, making it hard to understand what was happening.
Although we checked in without issue, our luggage did not arrive at our room for around two hours and I had to follow up multiple times before it was delivered.
While the poolside room was great during the day, it became quite noisy in the evenings when the area was used as a restaurant. There was also noticeable noise from around 7am when staff began preparing the area for pool guests.
There were a few small details missing from the room, such as hooks or hangers in the bathroom for towels.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay thanks to the beautiful location, stunning views, clean room and excellent breakfast. However, improvements to the arrival process, luggage handling and some of the finer details would make the experience much better.
