It was luxurious and homely and had all of the extras if needed. Arriving felt very calm and holistic and I loved the Buddha theme colours and textures throughout the place.
Staff were very welcoming and excellent at giving information to make the stay a smooth adventure.
Always checking in and there to help if needed. What an amazing stay. Thank you so much. Appreciated all the thought and attentive little details put in to preparing the perfect stay. I highly recommend The Mews. Located in a beautiful area.

Grim. Just stay in a proper hotel instead.

Cons:

I can only describe the mattress as… crunchy, (yes crunchy) and no, it’s not because of a plastic sheet. It’s literally the mattress. It’s a pity I can’t upload a video to share the audio with you, but imagine crunching empty plastic bottles and that’s pretty close.

Duvet cover had a big stain on it, felt very cheap and didn’t close at the bottom. I had to check if it was even a duvet cover or if it had been forgotten.

Photos advertised molten brown amenities. Disappointed to see a £1 shower gel now replaced them.

There was a TV hanging off the wall that looked like it might fall off at any moment, but no remote on any table or in any draw.

Position of the light switch for the bathroom is in the most bizarre place. Why isn’t it next to the door when you walk in.

Towel rail never seemed to heat up and appeared to be turned off.

Finally, none of the lights were plugged in when I got there? So I had to figure out why the lamps weren’t turning on, plug them in, switch the plug on and switch the lights on. Why?

Overall, great potential, but a fairly grim stay.

The location was good. The decor was nice.

Cons:

The room was cramped and the mattress/pillows uncomfortable. The toilet was noisy when flushed. There was noise outside the room in the evening

Good value for money, excellent location, comfortable bed.
Pros:

Excellent location. Host was a responsive communicator and sent comprehensive instructions for access. Property was cosy.

Unacceptable Stay
Pros:

The Location must of been the only good part about my stay, Centre of Alderley Edge!

Cons:

I was placed into the wrong room several times and had to move. The first room was filthy and the second wrong room had awful decor and a musty feeling. Finally the room I was supposed to be assigned to had no wardrobe space due to the owner filling it with all his belongings.

Fabulous shower. Nice cosy room.

Cons:

Having to pay extra for parking. It was only a tenner but I dont like the extra charges for basic things.
Quite a small room but still decent value for money.
