The room is small, no windows so room of 3 is pretty suffocating. The toilet has weak water, poor drainage, there are also black spot on the showerhead, unclean in general

Our stay at Halo Hotel was good. We were comfortable and the staff were nice. We appreciated the bottled water each day, and the staff was accommodating to our needs. Getting a Grab was convenient each day for transportation & sightseeing. The neighborhood had a nice local vibe, with many cafe choices.

Je laisse très rarement des avis négatifs sur Booking.com, mais cette expérience mérite d’être signalée, tant l’état de la chambre était déplorable.
Dès notre arrivée, l’accueil par un homme à la réception a été particulièrement désagréable. Nous ne parlions qu’anglais, mais cela ne justifie en rien un tel manque d’amabilité.
Le quartier est calme, ce qui était justement ce que nous recherchions. Il est certes éloigné des principales attractions, mais cela ne constituait pas un problème pour nous.
En revanche, dès notre entrée dans la chambre, nous avons été choqués par son état catastrophique. Elle ressemblait davantage à un chantier en cours qu’à une chambre d’hôtel prête à accueillir des clients.
Il y faisait extrêmement chaud. La climatisation fonctionnait, mais était tellement vétuste et peu efficace qu’elle ne refroidissait quasiment pas la pièce.
L’état des murs était tout aussi préoccupant : présence de moisissures, forte odeur de peinture fraîche et réparations grossières effectuées à plusieurs endroits, simplement recouvertes de peinture. De plus, la peinture s’effritait partout. Il suffisait de poser nos sacs contre les murs pour qu’ils se retrouvent couverts de peinture fraîchement appliquée. C’est tout simplement inacceptable.
L’installation électrique nous a également fortement inquiétés. La chambre semblait être en plein chantier, avec des prises électriques dans un état très préoccupant. Je n’avais même pas de prise à proximité de mon côté du lit. Les photos jointes à cet avis permettent de constater concrètement l’état de ces installations.
La salle de bain était tout aussi catastrophique. Le plafond était troué et l’évacuation de la baignoire était absente. Lorsque nous prenions un bain, l’eau s’écoulait directement par le fond de la baignoire sur le carrelage, avant de rejoindre l’évacuation au sol.
Hôtel agréable avec des restaurants à proximité. Un quartier intéressant et moins touristique que le vieux centre-ville. Les chambres sont correctes.
