Wonderful friendly host and staff. So helpful. A busy, vibey pub that is clearly the centre of the village. Perfect location for Ragley Hall.

Exceptionally friendly owners and staff with a wonderful atmosphere in the bars where the locals immediately adopt you.
Pros:

Very old country pub/hotel full of character situated opposite the village green. Great pub atmosphere along with excellent food and a a good range of craft beers. Rob the owner and the staff are very friendly and immensely helpful - even arranging an Uber for me at 04:30 in the morning!!

Cons:

Not applicable as everything was above and beyond what I expected.

Great little place good price but try get rooms 2 onwards if your a big/tall person
Pros:

Was in a nice quiet town and above a bar so great for getting drinks when needed

Cons:

I am a very tall person and I got a room where I had to duck a going in and out and walking around inside. The bath room had a bath that was way too small and no shower. Not sure about the other rooms but this was room 1

Disappointing, unacceptable, dishonest.
Pros:

The kitchen was closed and there would be no food for at least 24 hours. Caitlin, although left completely alone on property, was polite and sympathetic. She phoned manager who agreed to cancellation as no food available in the Inn or village. We were told to contact your company for full refund.

Cons:

The kitchen had been flooded the previous evening. Had we been notified beforehand that no food was available, we would have chosen not to stay. As it was we were faced with an unacceptable situation. We requested a full refund. We left and spent 2 hours finding last minute alternative accommodation. The room could not have been let to anyone else under the circumstances. The accommodation falls short of online photos. We are still awaiting refund.

Disappointing
Pros:

Location and the bed was clean

Cons:

No hot water when needed and apart from the bed linen and towels, the cleanliness left a great deal to be desired.

A great, friendly pub with a comfy bed.
Pros:

Lovely traditional room with exposed beams. Very comfy bed.

Cons:

A strong smell in our room, we figured out was a Reed diffuser, not a problem for us, but some may dislike. Also an exit sign light above the bed on all night.

Overall it was quite an experience in such an old pub dating back to 1500s
Pros:

Breakfast was fantastic as was the evening meal. Bed was the most comfortable. Friendly staff and buzzing atmosphere in the bar.

Cons:

Shower cubicle was in need of updating and some improvements needed in such an old and listed building which puts constraints on finances in these current times with hotels and pubs.
