I really can't fault this place.

Room was too hot

It was very hot and no air con just one fan wired to the wall

Room decor wasn’t very luxurious, it felt quite “plain”, especially for the price. I’ve stayed at other Native properties that had a much nicer “vibe”. I had a basement room so not a lot of natural light and needed to close the blinds for privacy (it has privacy and night blinds). The fridge was cool but not cold, likely had a fault as the temperature light was just blinking, as if it couldn’t reach the expected temperature. There is no air conditioning/climate control. Despite it not being that warm outside (19-20C) the room was too warm. There were a couple of fans and you can open the windows a little (although you then get street noise). There were people standing outside the hotel smoking which came into my room. Not sure if they were hotel staff but it happened a few times, so guessing they may have been. The bathroom could do with being refurbished or cleaned a bit better. There was someone painting my room when I arrived (he did apologise and quickly left but still, there was the smell of wet paint) I had originally been given a ground floor room but it was changed at the last minute. I have a feeling I was “down graded”.

Finally I had to wait outside to get into the building as the main entrance was closed for maintenance and they’d not opened the alternative door. Someone did come eventually. At nearly £300/night I didn’t think it was great value.

No water pressure in the showers and no air conditioning, this made it hard to sleep when London was in a heatwave.

staff was not very helpful at all no one at the desk for 15 minutes and then when eventually came , seemed very rude and not helpful.

There was no air con or fan in our room and it was swelteringly hot. We barely slept due to the heat.
The bed in our room seemed very small for a double bed, but maybe that was just the heat!
The next morning the lady at reception said there should have been a fan in our room and that we should have asked for one if one wasn't there.
We hadn't asked for one as firstly I assumed that given the weather that week if they had a fan it would already be in the room, plus we were several floors up and there was no phone in our room, we had changed into our night clothes and didn't want to have to get re-dressed and take the lift all the way down to reception at midnight.

Unfortunately, while the unit and hotel were nice enough under normal circumstances, our stay during the bank holiday weekend was so unbearable it bordered on dangerous. Travelling with a child under two, with only one weak bedroom fan, 5” of open window available and directly facing the midday sun, I sincerely wished we had checked out early and spent extra money on another hotel with better contingencies for unexpected extreme heat. I recognize this was a rare event, however, paying roughly $500 CAD/night to take cold showers multiple times overnight with a distressed, overheated toddler, being unable to sleep and avoiding going back to the room until late at night is unacceptable.

I expected more proactive treatment from a 4-star establishment, especially after we expressed the need for an additional fan (which we finally received on our last night after asking, emailing and then begging). The unit was simply unliveable and could have become an emergency for a very small infant or older adult.

Run down. Poor value for money

We stayed here during the Bank Holiday weekend heatwave and unfortunately had a very uncomfortable experience. The apartment became extremely hot, with no air conditioning and only one fan provided in the bedroom, which could not be moved to other rooms. We requested an additional fan, but were told none were available.

While the location is excellent, the lack of adequate cooling made our stay difficult, especially when travelling with children. If you’re planning to visit during the summer months, it’s worth considering that the apartment can become very warm, which may significantly impact your comfort.
