Great location with lovely staff.
Pros:

Good location good staff and clean room

Cons:

Sound proofing in the room not great as can hear people in the next room.
The tea making facilities that were supposed to be in the room were not. They would supply a kettle but no tea or coffee.
The breakfast was average.
The hotel is undergoing a refurbishment and they explained to us on check in that there may be noise during the day but we never heard anything.

Fantastic hotel in a great location - lovely staff and a well stocked bar
Pros:

My room was a lovely size - the staff were amazingly kind and helpful- everything was clean. Breakfast was ok. I didn’t fancy rice or noodles and not too much choice - but that’s a personal preference. There was fresh watermelon and toast so I was able to have something. I thought the hotel was amazing value for money

Cons:

Apart from the small breakfast choice there was nothing I didn’t like. The breakfast is not even an issue - the hotel is such good value.

Quite good, willing to come back again
Pros:

Staff is friendly and the room is quite clean. Not very far from the river and having 7-11 store near the hotel.

Nice well-priced hotel, convenient location.
Pros:

I really liked the location of The Borneo Hotel; it was walking distance to the Borneo Cultures Museum, the riverfront, restaurants, a spa, and a laundry shop. Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was on the first floor and it was a good, clean space with strong AC and clean bathroom. The hotel was undergoing renovations when we stayed in April 2026 but we didn't hear any noise and were not bothered by anything; we were out for most of the day.

快適に滞在できるホテル
Pros:

大きな通りに面してはいるものの夜騒々しいこともなく快適にすごせました。建物はところどころ古さを感じさせますがしっかり手入れされていると思います。

Cons:

特にありません。抜群のコスパという訳ではないですが価格に見合った良いホテルだと思います。
