Kein Urlaubshotel - wir kommen nicht wieder!
Pros:

Grundsätzlich sauber, fast zu sauber. Es machte daher einen eher sterilen Eindruck. Meerblick. Bemühtes und freundliches Personal.

Cons:

Das Zimmer hatte weder ein Fenster welches man öffnen konnte, noch einen Balkon. Daher war keinerlei Frischluftzufuhr möglich. Für den Preis und ein 5 Sterne Hotel, ist das Zimmer nicht angemessen. Man hört Lärm aus den Nachbarzimmern und von draußen. Die Fenster, welche sich nicht öffnen lassen, sind bei weitem nicht schalldicht. Das Hotel ist extrem hellhörig. Ein Welcome Drink wird offensichtlich nur Geschäftsreisenden und keinen Touristen angeboten. Die beworbene Poolbar bzw. Bar über dem Meer ist nicht existent. Der Pool fällt wesentlich kleiner aus, als es auf den Bildern erscheint. Die Gestaltung ist lieblos und wirkt absolut nicht einladend für einen Erholungsurlaub. Für Geschäftsreisende sicher in Ordnung. Der Preis des Frühstücks ist eine Frechheit.
Die Klimaanlage ist so laut, dass sie sogar die Geräusche von draußen und aus den Nachbarzimmern übertönt.

Piscine superbe,
Très bien situé pour découvrir Praia. Un véhicule est toutefois conseillé, sauf si vous aimez la marche.
Les plats du restaurant sont très appréciables et le petit déjeuner excellent avec des produits frais (25€/personne).
Le personnel est aux petits soins, chambre très propre avec vue piscine dégagée.
Je recommande ++

Nickel chambre propre personnel accueillant.
Pros:

L’hôtel, les chambres sont fabuleuses. Le personnel est très accueillant et aimable, surtout celui du du bar restaurant breeze de la piscine. Nous avons été chaleureusement accueilli par Angelo et Shella qui ont su nous mettre à l’aise.
Top établissement sur l’île.

Une très belle expérience de détente
Pros:

Très beau séjour dans cet hôtel. J'ai particulièrement aimé la sélection d'oreillers, car je suis plutôt exigeante à ce propos. Nous avons également booké l'un des meilleurs massages de couple qu'on ait eu !

Cons:

L'eau de la douche n'est pas assez chaude selon nos préférences, mais on a vite compris que ce n'est pas un problème propre à l'hôtel.

funcionários muito simpáticos, especialmente a Sra. Soraya. quarto confortável e bem arrumado pelas senhoras da limpeza.

Cons:

wifi não funcionava convenientemente, tinha falhas regulares e quando funcionava tinha uma ligação muito fraca. não é admissivel num hotel deste nível.

Pros:

Super luxe pour cet hôtel juste à côté de la belle plage de Praiana. La chambre est incroyablement confortable, spacieuse et belle.

Rien. Prendre un taxi pour aller au Plateau.

Great hotel in the perfect location with great staff!
Pros:

Everything was perfect! The hotel is absolutely beautiful and a perfect location right on the ocean. The staff are all amazing. They are friendly, helpful and speak multiple languages. This is out preferred hotel in Praia and this was our 3rd stay there. We will definitely be back to Barcelo.

Cons:

There is no flexibility on the menu. My husband asked if the cheese on the Nicoise salad can be replaced with a different kind of cheese and this was not possible. Seemed like an easy thing to accommodate. Wee also ordered a drink that was too sweet, after asking for little sugar to be added. The waiter took it back and said he would bring a new one, which he did, but we also got charged for both drinks. Seems like a cost the hotel should eat, especially since we didn't even drink the first drink.
