My stay never materialised due to the attitude and conduct of the Host
Unfortunately, I never actually got into the property. The confirmed Booking.com check-in time was 5pm–9pm. I arrived at about 6pm, rang the doorbell three times and tried two telephone numbers, but received no answer. I texted the host at 6.01pm to say I couldn’t get in but did not receive a reply until 7.57pm. The host subsequently told me she had only waited until 5.45pm because I had earlier asked whether an early check-in at 4.30pm was possible. I found the tone of the subsequent messages unnecessarily confrontational and, by then, felt uncomfortable about staying there, so I found alternative accommodation. A very disappointing experience.
Good range of facilities with comfortable bed, storage, wi - fi etc. Had own bathroom and kitchen facilities which were comfortable and clean. Breakfast not included but there were a range of facilities which allowed you to prepare your own food and drink. The proprietor did in fact leave fruit for us and offered good advice on where to get affordable and quality food locally. The accommodation was set in a beautiful location a little out of the town giving access to fantastic countryside walks. The proprietor was incredibly welcoming, kind, and helpful and informative during our stay.

Property in great location and easy to get to from Henley regatta
Linda, the owner, was wonderful, helpful in every way. Her garden was beautiful and we enjoyed two evenings drinking wine and eating nibbles on the patio. Fresh fruit and nibbles were provided for guests..
The lovely view and garden. The host was exceptionally friendly with a lot of local insight and and helped me find some really good spots to visit. The nearby Thames Path and deer enclosure was great for a morning walk.
Linda is the most amazing host! Ample parking, great welcome & fresh water/fruit in the room on arrival. Lovely little kitchenette downstairs with all your needs, bathroom right next to bedroom was handy as well. Unbelievable location backing onto private deer park which was a great tip from Linda! Nothing was too much trouble & never felt so at home away from home. Will be back very soon. Thank you so much
