We like the motel it’s clean tidy comfortable close to walk for food and the staff are lovely it was just the staircase

Close to restaurants although not much variation in food

Cons:

we have stayed here before in a different room 2 bedroom this time it was 1 bedroom and up stairs once u open ur room door it was difficult to navigate with luggage and with vertigo we could also hear the guests next door through an adjoining door to a studio which shared their room door right next to our staircase

Great stay at Crown on Darby.
Pros:

Great hotel for someone travelling for work. Super easy street parking right out front, usually, or if not, not far away. The kitchenette means I could heat up some soup, make some toast, and a cup of tea. Rooms are comfortable, clean, and bathrooms are spacious and well-equipped. Hot showers, great towels. Also, like that there are opening doors for some fresh air. Very quiet. If you're in the rooms on the second floor, at the back of the hotel, you need to climb a short set of stairs to get to the lift that takes you to the second floor.

Cons:

Reception closes at 5pm, and if you get there after that, you need to call the office, take a photo of some ID, send it them, and wait for them to verify that you are you, all while you're standing out in the street with your bags etc. Even if you've already paid for your accommodation. This is particularly annoying if you're tired after a long day of travelling and you just want to go to bed!

Great value hotel, in good location.
Pros:

Great location on Darby St, close to all the cafes and bars. Extremely spacious apartment, with the comfiest bed and pillows! Very good value.

Cons:

The spa bath didn't work, which was very disappointing. Otherwise this would have been 10/10 all the way.
