The location is very convenient, with easy access to major public transport stops, supermarkets, and several restaurants nearby. Buses from the area provide direct access to popular attractions such as the Golden Gate Bridge. It is also possible to enjoy a pleasant walk to the Ferry Building and Chinatown.
Since the property is located right next to the main roads, the area tends to be quite noisy and loud, even during the night.
Fijne kamer met prima bed. Sanitair was ook prima. Locatie is behoorlijk centraal gelegen in San Francisco. Op loopafstand van veel leuke plekken.
Kamers waren wel wat gehorig. Ik hoorde onze buurman snurken.

Close to Union Square. Easy walk
Hotel was able to store our luggage from 10am. Rooms available after 3pm.
Owing to flight change (from 6am Sunday to 11.30pm Saturday) we left at 7.30pm and didn't stay overnight as planned. We were able to shower and have a quick nap prior to leaving for a 15hr flight home so happy with what we got/used at the hotel.
No USB ports in room for phone charging which meant we had to unpack suitcase to find power adaptors.
Odd smell in room on arrival. We were ablevto open window for fresh air tho.
The location was central with easy transit, and the price was competitive for San Francisco. They offered a late check-out.
The rooms were old, very scuffed, peeling paint, and not adequately cleaned. The rooms weren’t temperature controlled. The carpets were very old and very filthy. The light sockets available on the lamps didn’t charge our devices, and our lamp switch was broken, so we had to actually unscrew the lightbulbs to turn it off at night. The bathroom door wouldn’t lock, and the smoke detector went off every time we took a hot shower. The toiletries and tissues hadn’t been refilled from the past guest, and there was hair in the tub. Housekeeping repeatedly ignored our “Do Not Disturb” signs and didn’t come at all the day we put out the “please clean” signs. None of the installed streaming apps on the TV worked. The one treadmill in the “fitness center” was broken. The front desk is “cashless” and couldn’t even make change for a $10, so that guests could use the vending machine. There were thin walls and a lot of street noise that scared my child.
I loved the vintage charm and location.
I didn't like the old vintage A/C. Really didn't cool the room down.

The hotel does the job, but it doesn’t offer anything special. However, for the price in such an expensive city, it’s a decent option. I’d recommend it for 1–2 nights – the location is brilliant and the pay-and-display car park works well. The staff are, of course, friendly.
