Great place to stay while visiting the Stampede and downtown.
Pros:

We were in town for the Stampede and loved the location. Not to far to walk and enjoyed the close proximity to 17th where the bars and restaurants were located. I will definitely book this place again.

Cons:

I didn't eat the breakfast offering as it didn't look very appealing and it was always very busy.

Le canapé lit a été fait sans draps de dessus la 1ere nuit, mon fils a dormi avec juste une couverture sans drap, nous avons fait la demande d un draps et rien n a été fait la 2nde nuit … ils n ont mis un draps que la dernière nuit ….

The room did not match the advertised photos nor give us value for the price tag.
Pros:

The beds were comfortable and the bedrooms were large. The bathroom was small but clean. Good location if you want to explore 17th Ave.

Cons:

The room had little useable furniture for our group. There was only 1 armchair in the living room, the dining room chairs were so damaged and dirty that no one could or would sit on them. The kitchen only 1 glass tumbler (for 6 people) no juice or wine glasses, just 4 coffee mugs. No paper towel in the kitchen or napkins. No complimentary newspaper was available as advertised. Not enough plugs in the bedrooms for CPAP machine and a phone. The room had a big balcony but was locked and we were not allowed to use it even though balconies are shown in the photographs of the hotel on booking website. The staff attempted to charge us double after we had already paid the day before on the booking website. We produced our receipt and they said they had no knowledge of it. We learned later they previously charged someone else in our group who checked in an hour before us and also told the staff the room was prepaid, but were still charged. The breakfast room was so crowded our group of 4 had trouble finding a spot together. We had to wait over 5 minutes for several empty buffet stations to be refilled after letting the staff know (no eggs, no waffle batter, no coffee, etc...) We felt sorry for the staff, as she was alone and it was too hard for her to handle that size room. The elevator only works if you use your key card and the staff did not tell us or any other guests. The elevator was small and with a large group w/luggage packed inside, it was scary when the door closed and it no buttons would work. Finally someone called the front desk and then they informed us to use our key card. There should be a sign posted inside the elevator. Parking was not included, $21 extra charge per day. Although the location is good, it was also very noisy at night. We heard a constant stream of cars, sirens and loud noises until 3 am.

Pros:

Brilliant location for Calgary Stampede, I walked the 25 minute walk down 17th Avenue which is also great for bars and restaurants. Was travelling by myself so was perfect.

Desperately needs some tlc
Pros:

Breakfast was good, the staff were lovely and it was convenient for the stampede.

Cons:

Our suite was tired and dated. It smelt fusty and desperately needed modernising.
The air con was noisy. Shower curtains feel unhygienic. The window frame in the lounge area was black and broken. The dining chairs were marked.
The carpets throughout the hotel were also very old fashioned and the lobby chairs were marked and grubby.

出行方便，早餐花样挺多。
Pros:

地理位置不错，早餐品种丰富，有几个菜每天不一样。入住率挺高，服务员会主动询问是否需要什么服务

Cons:

早餐高峰期，上下电梯需要等很久，有小厨房挺好，但是我的房间在小厨房边的地毯湿答答的，不知道什么原因。

The hotel is a practical solution if you need to stay in downtown Calgary

There was a bit of a damp smell in the room. Shower and hand soaps were empty ao I had to call reception to fill them.
Poor sound insulation between rooms - loud noise from running water in the room next door woke me up.

Nice place to relax in a nice area.
Pros:

We liked our room. Nice lay out and spacious.
Good views from higher floor.
Breakfast was appreciated.
Location was handy.

Cons:

Kitchen lacked utensils to make food while stove top was provided.
Bed was a little small but comfortable enough.

Freundliches Personal, bequeme Betten

Cons:

Das Frühstück gab es in Plastik und Papiergeschirr. Gibt leider sehr viel Abfall und ein Frühstück in einem Hotel geniesse ich gerne in echtem Geschirr.
