An AirBNB-like stay close to University of Ghana Legon, and fairly close to the airport.
Pros:

The room was close to the University of Ghana Legon where I had meetings. This made the location good for me on this trip. I usually stay in 5-star hotels in central Accra which would have added a lot of time given the distance and traffic. Note that this is not a traditional hotel room. It has a King size bed, a desk, closets, a balcony, a separate bath with toilet, TV with Netflix and Youtube TV... but also has a microwave, a stove, a washing machine, and a fairly large refrigerator with a large freezer. The room comes with cooking equipment also. The room is not spacious, but was fine for me since I did not spend much time in the room. The room is part of a secure apartment complex with two towers and the complex has: two restaurants, a grocery store, a pharmacy, a pool, and a gym. The breakfast (free under my booking) was in one of the restaurants and was quite good. On a very positive note, I asked for a late checkout on my final day because my flight was at 10:30 pm... and this was granted without a fee given the time the room was needed next... this allowed me to shower and change clothes after a long and dusty day before getting on a 10+ hour flight... very welcome indeed.

Cons:

I can't say there was anything I did not like... but sometimes I did miss the daily service one gets in a 5-star hotel. I did not ask for any kind of service, so don't really know if there is service available during the visit that I did not take advantage of.

We like the area close to mostly every needs,the staff were friendly

Cons:

The bed was softer than expected for my wife,we ate at the rooftop restaurant close to ten times this second the food is good but there was tiny rocks in my seafood scampi my wife meal came five minutes before mine and it was only four tables occupied in the restaurants
