Average stay at Whitsunday terraces for a fairly decent spend. Probably wouldn’t stay again.
Pros:

Nice view over Airlie beach.
Good location and proximity to bars/shops/restaurants.
Staff friendly and helpful.

Cons:

Room basic, but sufficient for a short stay.
Place itself needs a bit of an overhaul.
Bed very uncomfortable and springs poking through - in definite need of an upgrade.
Shower hot water only lasted for about 4 minutes. I get this may be for water efficiency, but I am unsure how two people would manage staying there. I couldn’t even have a second hot shower if I had been out for the day. Unsure if this water supply is linked to the room next door.
Cold tap needs replacing - plumbing bangs when not turned on full power.
Kettle broken so, lid pops and continues to boil.
Thin walls so could hear the neighbours alarm go off at 530am and their arguments.

In this age and time we expect WiFi everywhere.
Unfortunately these apartments don't have one in your rooms. You have to walk all the way down to the pool and reception area, what's the point?

Nothing , it was nothing like the photos, bathroom was dirty, nothing in kitchen to have a bbq , no wifi , not enough towels for showers, bad car park.

A bright, sunshiny stay overlooking the harbour.
Pros:

Walking into the room, we got a full view of the marina and parklands. Town was a short walk away. The room was quiet, with a lovely balcony to enjoy the morning sun and sparkling ocean. There was off-street parking. The staff were very friendly. There is a restaurant on-site, with great views of the harbour. It was warm enough for a swim, and we had access to a small pool very close to our unit.

Cons:

Airlie Beach is not a flat seaside town. It has hills where most of the accommodation is located. The hill can be a bit of a heart starter! Parking is also a little tight.

Airlie Beach is a beautiful spot and the weather was great.
Pros:

The view was excellent and the property is close to restaurants etc

Cons:

The property is a bit dated especially the bathroom. Also it is up a big hill so you need a car but there is not enough parking spaces when heavily booked.

We enjoyed our stay, great rooms, location and views. Friendly staff
Pros:

Our room was lovely and spacious. We had a washing machine in the cupboard and a decent sized fridge. The bathroom had plenty of drawers to keep things off the bench and a large shower. The balcony was great and fully covered with an excellent view of the bay and ferris wheel that was there. Cockatoos came to visit each morning. The staff were pleasant and very helpful. There is a great bar there and the food available was amazing.

Cons:

The wifi at the hotel could be alot better but we managed. The walk up the hill to the accommodation was alot and not easy but it was managable slowly. There are only stairs to the upper floors (no lifts at all)
