Pros:

The location was amazing especially the view from the main enterance

Cons:

Told 3 different members of staff ppl were smoking all the done was spray air freshener my hair smelled of smoke it was that bad, room was very small and dated, no towels in bathroom l, parking I don't understand how it works I paid for a permit the lady behind me was given one by a different worker for free, took over 20 mins to check in wouldn't recommend

Basic but clean
Pros:

The staff where extremely friendly and polite. Room was basic but clean.

Cons:

Being taken advantage of with price as we booked slightly later than others due to a change in circumstances. Speaking with other guests staying in the same type of room they paid less than half what we paid, and they got breakfast included whereas we were advised there would be an additional cost and they also had a later check out. Definitely not worth £195 for 1 night. I dont ming paying slightly more for booking later but over double is extortionate.

Run down expensive hotel
Pros:

The staff where very nice

Cons:

The photos of the room is not what you get they must be ten years old the corridor stinks of fags and weed the whole hotel is very tired and the rooms are overpriced

Perfect for what I wanted.
Pros:

The Building was a solid turn of the 20th century design and perfect for its purpose. The room was adequate for one night but I’d have struggled with the size if there for a few nights. Mattress was very good. The Manager of that day was superb.

Cons:

The shower had seen better days. Needed an upgrade from the Mira Sport to a power assisted shower with more pressure. The outside of the building is tired and needs a good clean and coat of paint. More use of the outside space might be an idea. No smoking area designated so staff were outside front door.

Pros:

Staff very friendly and happy to accommodate,when ever they could,we booked a one nights stay to start with,then booked a second night ,and reception staff juggled things around in order for us to stay in the same room..

Cons:

The whole hotel is dated and needs, sprucing up, our room wasn't very clean, mark's on the bedding, ceiling and walls,the taps in the bathroom all leaked Inc the shower.
