Super Zimmer, trotz Halbpension ausswärts gegessen
Pros:

Schönes grosszügiges und neu renoviertes Zimmer

Cons:

Das Nachtessen war schrecklich und es gab ausser Leitungswasser nichts zu drinken. Die Bar scheint schon längere Zeit außer Betrieb zu sein.

Pros:

The historic location and the history of the place are something to admire. And the bar staff were very friendly.

Cons:

The room could be a little bit more up to date but it was very clean! and there was the option to connect your netflix to the tv that is also something that is not a given in most of the hotels on the NC500 something else i would like to adress and i don't want to sound like a prick the food could be a little bit more flavourfull. Anyway all in all not a bad stay thanks!

Not happy as I was a tour coach driver for 30 years so know the routine, but might just stay again if really pushed
Pros:

2nd time in 4 days. Like the place and the friendly staff

Cons:

Friday had no bar. Monday night 3 coaches and private guests still no bar. Hotel can’t seem to be able to cope with the 3 coaches loads and private guests specially at meal times. Private guest had to rush into dinning room before the coach parties as they were all booked for 1845/1900. Breakfast a complete sham this time

Pros:

Välstädat rum

Cons:

Restaurangen var mindre bra. Middagsmaten var definitivt inte värd att äta och frukosten var ok men inte mer än så. Hotellet skulle definitivt behöva en upprustning.

Erg, erg, slecht hotel
Pros:

De receptioniste deed echt haar best. Hotel is echter zwaar verouderd en vervallen

Cons:

Springveren die door matrassen heen steken, een balustrade die weggerot is en gewoon gevaarlijk is dus, sanitair dat in Nederland in 1990 al veroudert was

Just ok.
Pros:

Location of hotel. Room very good.

Cons:

Bar not open, They said there was an IT issue but I heard it had been closed for a few days. Not enough staff on in the main dining room. Also main course at dinner you could have got in an old folks home.

Pros:

Our beds and room were comfortable . The staff were very good, and obviously working very hard. Very helpful despite being over stretched. Breakfast was good and good value for money.

Cons:

The bar was closed. It would have been nice to relax in the bar after a long drive.
The walls were thin in the bedroom. We had some chatty ladies next to us who did not seem to need much sleep! My daughter's room however was quiet.

Katastrophe !! Nie wieder !
Pros:

Pros:

Nothing to redeem this

Cons:

The room was appalling. Tired and old. Dinner menu was 3 choices, one being pizza. Public area had last nights glasses still around. We were booked for 2 nights but left after one. Frankly the worst hotel I've ever experienced. Avoid it.

Pros:

Staff were welcoming and accommodating. One of our party's tv wasn't working and unfortunately, nothing could be done until the following morning - we were leaving then. Therefore, they kindly compensated him for the inconvenience.
Plenty of choice for breakfast.

Cons:

The orthopaedic bed and pillows were not to our liking - that's down to personal choice - as a result, not the best night's sleep.
Evening meals were ok and reasonably priced, but portions were much smaller than expected e.g. 1 fishcake on a bed of mixed leaves for a main meal.
