The room (Room 4) was very comfortable, with peaceful decor. The only slight drawback was being above the kitchen door and extractor fan, but that was barely an inconvenience. Downstairs lounges extremely comfortable and relaxing. The food (6-course taster menu) was exceptional. The staff - despite being short-handed the night we were there - were very attentive, informative and friendly.

Friendly and very helpful staff; restaurant and food were really good both for dinner and breakfast.
Only minor gripe was that the bathroom fittings are a little tired - chipped enamel in the bath etc. but nothing to materially detract from our stay which we enjoyed enormously.
The whole place is exceptional well kept inside & out. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Breakfast was superb.
Exceptional service lovely and clean. The bed was super comfy all the amenities I could want. Don’t forget to eat at the restaurant as you will not regret it food was stunning and service impeccable

Breakfast was nice, very small glasses for the juice, was like a bigger shot glass
No pressure in the hot water atall in the room, cold water was fine but couldn’t even have a bath because the hot water came out in drops. Milk in the room went out of date in February 2024, my partner drank some and the milk was curdled obviously due to it being over a year out of date
