Bevor man den Schlüssel Code bekommt, muss eine Kaution überweisen werden und ein Foto vom Pass per WhatsApp übermittelt werden. Der Vermieter war nicht telefonisch erreichbar. Schlechte Kommunikation. Ich hätte es mir freundlicher gewünscht.
Cheap and cheap for a reason. Don't be fooled...
After I made a booking, I received request to pay a £50 deposit via WhatsApp. I contacted booking.com customer support who advised me not to make payments outside booking.com and promised me to contact the host to 'educate' them. Even after me advising this to the host they insisted for the deposit and advised me that no check-in details will be provided with out it. I requested a free cancellation of the booking as this information was not provided prior me making the booking, which is in breach of consumer rights. The host refused it. As the booking was non-refundable I had no choice and to make the international payment at extra cost to me.
The deposit was refunded and due to international exchange did cost me money also. I never ever had this in the past and would not have booked it if I would have known about the deposit.
The room is very basic. There were no towels on my arrival so I had to contact the host and this was rectified.
There is only one single bathroom to share among every room in the house.
Perfect room, impressive kitchen and a five star bathroom. I even loved the chairs and table in the yard. Thank you for the towel and the bath mat.

I liked how clean the house was and also the bathroom... Bathroom was very posh. The kitchen had a nice set out and also handy having a washing line in the garden. Staff in the house were nice and polite ☺️
I thought the room was a bit small and there was no washing machine unfortunately. Other than that, no issues. Would recommend if looking for short term accommodation 👍🏼

The location is good, very near bus stops, frequent busses to the city or airport.

The advert stated a kitchenete, and the pictures showed a cooker - no cooking rule. Microwave use only - this was defective (turn-table broken)

I stayed a week, if i had known in advance i would have looked elsewhere, i was left with the feeling they did not want you to use gas (cooking) or electricty (washing machine)!

The whole experience from meeting tomasz to using the facilities was a treat, meeting new guests and old guests was a lovely communal experience and the upkeep of all the rooms was astounding, overall this is the best guesthouse house me and my partner have ever had the pleasure to stay at, at any price let alone the highly affordable rates that the Abbeyfield offers the quality was above and beyond expectations, would recommend to anyone
