Cardedeu Hotel Lago de Coatepeque

- nos dieron las toallas sucias, las devolvimos y nos dieron otras que están también sucias y al recular la respuesta fue: pero si la mancha no es muy grande
- el desayuno es malo, pan con mantequilla y fruta muy malla
- no tiene nevera
- por la noche hay un ruido en la habitación que contrasta con el silencio del lugar y da problemas para dormir
- pregunté al personal por la subida al volcán t nadie nos contestó
- prohíben entrar agua o comida pero el servicio de Bistro es hasta las 19h

Room set up could be a bit more thoughtful, eg. there was only main ceiling light in the room, i.e. no bed light or stand alone lamp, in case you don't want to have the room full of light in the evening. Room has a nice balcony, unfortunately it had only 1 not so comfortable chair. Two comfortable chairs would be excellent to enjoy the great view of the lake. In the booking information it is not clear that some room options are not located close to each other, so when you book more than 1 room as a family, it could be that the assigned rooms are quite far apart or even accross the road. Fortunately, this was resolved at the check-in at no additional cost.

The beds were very hard and uncomfortable. I wish there was a mini fridge in the room to keep things cool. My biggest issue was that the property on the Hill (Cardedeu) had a wedding on Saturday evening and music was extremely loud until midnight. It kept us up as it reverberated into the room. If you had kids or a baby, you would be miserable. Not sure if they will tell you, but check to see if there is an event at their other property prior to booking

Leider wird auf der booking-Seite nicht zwischen „lakeview“ und „lakefront“. Als wir ankamen erfuhren, dass wir gar nicht in dem Hotel direkt am See, sondern in einem Container oberhalb des Hotels schliefen, das gingt aus der Internetseite überhaupt nicht hervor. Leider ist bei uns aus der Dusche kaum Wasser gekommen und das für 150€ pro Nacht heißt schon einiges. Es roch überall in der Anlage nach Abwasser. Dieses Problem sollte das Hotel lösen. Als wir auscheckten wurde uns keine Rechnung gegeben und im Nachhinein noch Geld abgebucht und wir wissen nicht wofür das war, weil wir keine Rechnung bekommen haben. Also rechtlich eigentlich nicht in Ordnung. Dieses Hotel ist leider überhaupt nicht zu empfehlen…

Las calles bien inclinadas para llegar, un sedan cualquiera no llega.

Still a lot of room for improvement in the booking experience. I sent three messages over the course of a week, but never received a response. I called them from overseas to the contact phone number, but this was never available, and when I contacted the main office, thet promise to contact me, but no response neither.

It seems that platforms like Booking.com are not their strength.

Breakfast included in the stay was very minimal (small portion of scrambled eggs, beans, small bread bun and small square of cheese) and took 45 to 50 minutes to be served. 3 night stay and was disappointed every morning.

Muchos mosquitos, en mi caso no había acceso directo a piscinas y el cable no funcionó siempre

Todo estuvo bien, pero como oportunidad mejoraría el menú de alimentos en el restaurante

El día que fui realmente estaban teniendo problemas entonces, no había ni Wifi, ni aire acondicionado, el desayuno me lo dieron incompleto y por poco me cobran por lo restante.
La piscina no estaba limpia.
