An excellent 3 star hotel with exceptional staff, plus a great location in the Old City.
Pros:

Unfortunately the hotels kitchen was closed due to renovations, however they provided an excellent breakfast at a close by sister hotel. Cannot rate the staff high enough, who provide us with outstanding service.

Cons:

Not having a bar for any type of beverage except what was available in your room. However, the whole location is surrounded with bars and coffee shops.

A wonderfully located hotel with good sized rooms, and most importantly, the friendliest reception staff!
Pros:

A wonderful hotel to stay in the heart of Hanoi. It’s in between Old Quarter and French Quarter, making the location super convenient for you to wander around during the day. The hotel staff are super friendly, knowledgeable and always willing to help you out. We’re so grateful to have celebrated our honeymoon here and they’ve even surprised us with a honeymoon cake!! Thank you so much for making this such a memorable trip.

Convient parfaitement aux familles. Hôtel calme mais très bien situé. Personnel très accueillant et facilitant. Une mention particulière à Dave qui a organisé notre séjour à Hanoï, à Mu Cang Chai et à Han La Bay d'une main de maître : visites, transferts, conseils pratiques très utiles (par exemple pour les cartes Sim) etc...
Nous recommandons chaudement cet hôtel pour profiter pleinement d'un séjour à Hanoï et dans le nord du Vietnam.

The staff were very polite, courteous and very efficient. We particularly like the fcat that they were English speaking and made very good suggestions on how to get around...Kudos to miss Hani, our favorite staff/receptionist!

Een fantastisch verblijf bij Hotel Emerald Waters in Hanoi! De service is van een zeer hoog niveau en werkelijk alles is tot in de puntjes geregeld. Het team denkt met je mee en doet er alles aan om je verblijf zo prettig mogelijk te maken. Vooral Mr. Dave en zijn team verdienen een groot compliment voor hun persoonlijke aandacht en gastvrijheid. Absoluut een aanrader!
