Black Forest Beach Resort

Estuvimos 4 noches y fue la mejor elección que pudimos hacer. La esencia del alojamiento, el verte en medio de la nada, la playa vacía, atardeceres de encanto. El desayuno muy abundante y rico, nunca lo acabábamos e iba variando según el día. El hombre nos ayudó en todo, nos preparó la excursión a Pigeon Island con una barca que nos recogió en la playa. Muy amable. También nos facilitó el desayuno más temprano el día que nos fuimos

Si te gustan los animales este es tu sitio, ya que los perritos te acompañan hasta el paseo por la playa. También hay monos, ermitaños, etc.

Lo que más nos gustó fue la conexión con la naturaleza y que no había nadie en la playa, era como estar en una playa privada.

Sin duda alguna volveremos

Our stay at Black Forest was exceptional.

Our hosts, Niranga and Chandi, made us feel right at home. Chandi's seafood dinners were delicious. Niranga’s service was an art unto itself. They touched our hearts.

The beach is empty for several kilometers. And the hotel building is an elegant fusion of Sri Lankan and Japanese architecture with large common spaces open to nature, showcasing relics recovered from the sea, and with a lived-in charm that hints of many stories from the past. You can feel the intention behind every detail. This is a place for those who want to relax within an artistic experience.

We can't wait to return!

Naprosto úžasný pan Niranga, který se tam o vše stará. Díky němu jsme se cítili opravdu jako doma. Byl to takový dědeček z pohádky. Velmi starostlivý a jeho ochota přesahovala vše o čem sníte. Ještě jednou velké díky a moc rády se tam vrátíme ❤️

L’hospitalité des hôtes, leur gentillesse et soin pour rendre notre séjour le plus agréable. Le lieu est relaxant, la plage déserte et les dîners divins. Nous recommandons pour un séjour au calme.

Nous avons passé un séjour absolument fantastique au Black Forest. L'emplacement à Kumpurupiddi, tout près de Nilaveli, est idéal pour profiter du calme, de la plage et d'un cadre exceptionnel. Nous avions la plage quasiment que pour nous.
Le personnel est d'une gentillesse incroyable, toujours attentionné et aux petits soins pour que tout se passe au mieux.
C'est aussi un point de chute parfait pour explorer la région, que ce soit pour visiter le temple de Koneswaram, le Fort Frederick ou simplement s'offrir des moments de détente inoubliables.
Un immense merci à toute l'équipe pour cet accueil si chaleureux. Nous repasserons sans hésiter et nous recommandons l'adresse les yeux fermés !

Der wirklich menschenleere Strand war sauber und ein Traum!
Die Zimmer.im Dschungel waren besser wie manch andere 4 Stern Hotels in Sti Lanka!
Das gesamte Personal hat uns wirklich jeden Wunsch erfüllt !
Am herausragendsten war allerdings die Köchin...
Wir haben in ganz Sri Lanka nirgens sooo gut gegessen !

Struttura caratteristica posizionata fronte spiaggia, accogliente, lontana dal caos e comunque a pochi minuti di auto/ tuk tuk dal centro di Trincomalee. Ottima la colazione e ristorante serviti dal proprietario Sig. Niranga , persona fantastica per la sua disponibilità, anche per organizzare tours, a cui invio un abbraccio e il nostro più sentito ringraziamento per aver reso il soggiorno indimenticabile!

Wer die Einsamkeit sucht ist hier richtig. An dem 3km Strand befinden sich nur ca 3 Unterkünfte so dass man die meiste Zeit alleine im Wasser ist. Absolut traumhaft. Bei uns war der Strand sehr sauber, aber lag bestimmt daran dass bei den Resorts der Plastikmüll ab und an eingesammelt wird.


Auf dem leeren Nachbargrundstück leben ca 25 Affen die über die Bäume auf die Wellblechdächer springen und Lärm machen. Vor allem Morgens und Abends. Hat uns alles nicht gestört.

Das Team ist super nett und es ist sehr familiär. Das Essen wird gemeint besprochen und ist Phänomenal, sehr umfangreich und wirklich gut. Alles frisch. Es gibt ab und an einen Saft, Nüsse oder so als extra
Die Zimmer sind einfach, etwas dunkel da man die Vorhänge unten geschlossen hält, aber für den Preis für. Klimaanlage funktioniert gut.
Der Strand ist ein Traum, der Wald ist ein Traum, der japanische Stil ist wunderschön.
Das beste ist das Team.

Si quieres desconectar en el paraíso , este es tu sitio. La pareja que lo lleva son encantadores, y el hotel es espectacular, con una decoración increíble y en medio de la naturaleza con la playa a veinte pasos. Un paraíso!!

Wir haben die Zeit im Black Forest wirklich sehr genossen! Es hat eine wirkliche ruhige Lage, abseits von allem Trubel und eignet sich hervorragend um runter zu kommen.

Die absoluten Highlights waren der einsame, perfekte Sandstrand den man mysteriös durch eine kleine Hecke betritt.
Außerdem der zauberhaften Service, bestehend aus einem warmherzigen Ehepaar im Service und der Küche.

Wir haben anders als geplant, jeden Abend in der Unterkunft gegessen, weil die Köchin jeden Abend ein eigenes Programm nach unseren Wünschen zusammengestellt hat.

Wir waren erst skeptisch wegen des Preises, aber es war wirklich eine besondere Zeit.
Vollkommen zufrieden!

Wenn man Glück hat, bekommt man als Bonus noch einige Tiere zu sehen.

Asukoht oli väga ilus. Kui hindad vaikust, hubasust ja privaatsust, siis see on just õige koht peatumiseks. Hotell on jaapani stiilis pisut, sest omanik töötas aastaid Jaapanis. Hotelli omanik võttis meid isiklikult vastu ja pakkus oma lahkust, sõbralikkust nagu oma headele sõpradele. Tema abikaasa tegi söögid, mis olid imemaitsvad. Meie jäime väga rahule, kindlasti läheks tagasi, kui jälle SriLankale tuleme.

Unsere Eindrücke in eine Rezension zu packen ist eine Herausforderung. Denn wir fanden den Paradies auf Erden, geführt von zwei Engeln.
Die Besitzer sind zwei so herzliche Menschen die einen ganz besonderen Ort kreieren wollten.
Der Strand ist ein Traum und absolut menschenleer.
Die Küche ist eine der Besten die wir auf unserer Reise fanden und es wird alles versucht um jeden Gast glücklich zu machen. Ob veganes kochen, Trips buchen oder Roller mieten oder die Rundreise zu besprechen.
Die Besitzer haben beide lange in Japan gelebt und man merkt den japanischen Einfluss nicht nur in der Architektur neben dem Charme des 70er Jahre Mobiliars.
Rund um das Hotel ist nur Urwald und es wurde sogar eine Wassertränke für Tiere errichtet, bei der sogar 2 x der Leopard gesichert wurde.
Affen, alle möglichen Vogelarten und Insekten sind hier ebenfalls zuhause.

En dehors du temps et des normes. Un décor de théâtre et une plage ou l'on a eu le sentiment d'être seuls au monde.

Viaggio con la famiglia, abbiamo passatto 4 giorni rilassanti ( abbiamo allungato di 2 giorni rispetto al programma) in un atmosfera affascinante a pochi passi dal mare, immersi nella natura. Un posto fuori dal solito

Beautifully designed, like a designer boutique resort with a sort of minimalist Scandinavian or Japanese aesthetic….lots of big vast spaces, plenty of natural light, trees all around, secluded and secret, away from the tourist beaches….constant sound of the waves, fully starry night skies just a small walk away from your room - feels like being at the edge of the world.
But the best best BEST part of the stay were the wonderful staff, or shall I say “hosts” (because they make you feel so at home!) Niraang and Chandi….they take care of you and feed you like family, as if you have come to your grandparents’ vacation home. Never have we felt so warmly treated and fed and cared for by our hosts.
If you’re looking for a quiet getaway with lots of silence and stillness, this is the spot for you.
