This hotel can be exceptional if they re-consider their receptionists attitude and buffet, quality is all they need

Cons:

reception services are questionable, and the front desk staff need to greet guests with more warmth and friendliness.

I was shocked when the female receptionist was staring to me with a poker face, like I’m intruding the place not a guest want smoothly check-in.

Anyway, I booked this hotel to celebrate a special occasion for my wife and coordinated with an external event planner to decorate the room with ballons and cake but, unfortunately, the reception staff were uncooperative and refused entry to the planner, claiming it was prohibited and that any setup had to be arranged directly through the hotel planner at triple the price I had agreed on with the external planner! So it was all about squeezing more money from their guests.

I was in a very embarrassing and frustrating situation, worrying the room wouldn't be ready, until I received a call from their management, a staff member I believe the Head of Hospitality spoke with me, I explained the entire situation to her, and she was extremely helpful and allowed the external planner in.

I would like to extend my sincere thanks to her for saving the day.

As for the breakfast buffet, it was very poor, the baked goods were cold, hard, and tasteless, as if they had just been taken out of a refrigerator, the sauteed meat (Mgalgal) was tough and unappetizing, for drinks, only mojito, watermelon and detox water were available no orange juice or ice tea!

Most of the fruits were hard, not ripe, and lacked flavor, with the exception of the dragon fruit.

Also I visited the hotel's lounge in M floor at 11:25 PM and ordered a coffee and a grape danish pastry, 15 minutes passed nothing happened, and then a staff member came over and mentioned that they would be closing the lounge at 12:00 AM!
I said that was fine, but the order wasn't ready until 11:45 PM.

What I would like to say is, if they were in such a hurry, why did they accept the order in the first place ?
