The OneFive Tokyo Kameido

I was disappointed with my experience at this hotel from the moment I arrived.
When I walked into the lobby, I received no greeting at all. Several staff members were standing behind the desk, looking at a monitor and talking amongst themselves. When they noticed me, none of them acknowledged me or said hello; instead, they simply turned their attention back to the monitor.
I arrived at 1:30 PM, knowing that check-in time was 3:00 PM, so I politely asked if the hotel could store my luggage until my room was ready. To my surprise, I was told to use a coin-operated locker instead. I found this quite disappointing, as luggage storage is a common service offered by most hotels.
The check-in process itself was confusing and disorganized. After locating my reservation, a staff member asked me to fill out my personal information. As I was about to enter the information, another staff member stopped me and told me to wait, even though I had already been instructed to complete the registration. It seemed like the staff were struggling with a new system and were not communicating effectively with each other.
Eventually, I was told I could proceed with entering my information, but the system had automatically been set to Chinese without asking me for my language preference. I felt that the staff had made an assumption about my background, which I found inappropriate and unprofessional.
I was then informed that my room would not be available until 3:00 PM. However, after my U.S. passport was scanned, I was suddenly told that my room was ready immediately. This abrupt change left me feeling uncomfortable and questioning whether I had been treated fairly.
Later during my stay, I lost my room key. While I understand and accept that there is a fee for key replacement, I was concerned that the staff member only asked for payment and did not request any identification or verify that I was the registered guest before issuing a new key.

アメニティが揃っていなかった。

The bed was small for european standards. And as expected the room was small too.

部屋が古く部屋に消毒スプレーが欲しい。ブロンドで荷物を送って欲しい。フロントに外人さんのみで親切だったけど、日本人もいて欲しい。ホテルが駅から分かりにくい(もっと４分たから近いと思った）。誰でもエレベーターで入ってこられてしまうのが怖い気がする。

Areas for improvement:
- We were informed that room cleaning would be done once every 4 days, however during our 8-night stay we did not notice room or bathroom cleaning being carried out (other than towel replacement and rubbish collection).
- The room had a kettle, but tea, coffee and sugar were not provided either in the room or in the common amenities area.
- The pillows were very hard and uncomfortable for us.
- Storage space was limited. Our room did not have a cupboard and there was very little space to keep luggage, which became difficult during a longer stay
