hot pools, room cleanliness and friendly staff all exceeded expectations.
Pros:

pools were excellent

Cons:

Room 261 was directly across from the big construction project going on next to the property. A large amount of noise began at 8:00a. There were many other vacant rooms and for some reason we were put in this room. I didn't bother to ask why but the front desk needs to be aware of this situation. I wonder how is it that they are not.

Excellent support from staff when requested, a healthy respect for our privacy at all other times.
Pros:

the in-room kitchen was great and well-stocked. Staff was always available and accommodating when needed.

Cons:

A pair of scissors in the kitchen area would have been nice

Pros:

Very nice Swedish massage after pleasant mudbath, hot soak and sauna. Pool area very nice.

Cons:

Billed twice because of confusion between Booking.com and this hotel. This was corrected within a week after I noticed the error on my credit card's website. No elevator for second story rooms.

Pros:

Wonderful hotel! We absolutely loved our stay at Calistoga Spa Hot Springs. The geothermal mineral pools are amazing — warm, relaxing, and perfect after a day in Napa Valley. The hotel is clean, peaceful, and very comfortable, with beautiful mountain views and a great location close to downtown Calistoga. The staff was friendly and welcoming. We had such a relaxing experience and would definitely love to come back again. Highly recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great for family travel, various pools and close to downtown. Ask for 1st floor and thank me later
Pros:

3 different pool is great to cater different needs/age. I would not list the 4th one as a pool as it is more of a toddler pool and little yellowish. Close to downtown (small) and nice gym, overpriced spa.

Cons:

Paid extra to get daily 40$ resort food/drink, which ended up being an actual breakfast voucher for a close-by hotel restaurant. I would reconsider if this was noted. They do have a poolside café to get cold drinks/snacks and it was not available to use that. Got locked in to use breakfast at the same place, which is another review, not the best option around Calistoga.

2nd floor room AC, is quite loud as unit is installed right outside and noisy at night. 1st floor have their own private patio with table and bbq. Needed to ask for that, even though during reservation I opted for the 1st floor.

Not worth the money
Pros:

We liked that the property was in a convenient location and had good spa services at their facility.

Good spa services saved the day for us.

Cons:

1) boarding is way too expensive and the rooms are not that great. At over $500/night it gives a feel of a spring hill suite and not a luxury hotel. They don’t even have any food/coffee facility on site so you have to walk to the shops near by for coffee. Best is to stay somewhere else and use this facility for their spa services.

2) They are very restrictive when it comes to kids. They allow to book with kids but one of the main outside jet spa is not accessible to kids. Then the other big spa in the middle where kids are allowed, didn’t have the jets on and the temp was also low compared to the other one. Pool is nice but when some other teenagers were playing, the hotel staff told them they are too loud and this was at 3 in the afternoon. What do you expect from teenagers? Either don’t allow kids to come to the resort if you want to maintain the calm or expect some noise during the day time. It was so disappointing to see those kids leave in the middle of the day

Okay place to stay
Pros:

Good location within Napa Valley. Close to major wineries and activities

Cons:

Bed was uncomfortable, bathroom sink would not drain, carpets needed a good cleaning. Poor value for nightly cost.

Amazing pools and kid/family friendly but not a luxury resort stay. Good value for the location and nice staff
Pros:

The location of the property was great, very accessible to the downtown and close walk (2min) to the Calistoga Creamery. Most restaurants were about a 5-10 walk away. The fancier restaurants (and wineries in Napa) are about 15-25min drive with no traffic. It’s super kid friendly there and my child loved being the pool for hours at a time. The pools are really the only reason to stay here and it was warm and clean! I’m also allergic to chlorine so having mineral pools made it possible for me to also be in the water and spend more time with my child. Not too crowded when we went for a weekend in mid-July even though it was summertime. The queen room was spacious and comes with a kitchenette with small induction stove, pots/pans, cooking and eating utensils , plates/bowls, s&p, microwave, mini fridge, and drying rack, so very basic but convenient like a little airbnb

Cons:

It did not feel like a resort in the sense that all these amenities were provided on site. It felt more like a cheap motel with amazing pools. There was a gym and spa but I believe the staff said it was not affiliated with the resort but I’m not sure because we did not use it. There was also no restaurant or breakfast on site but we did get the $40 breakfast voucher for the Calistoga Brewery (5min walk away in downtown) which was good. They let you stack the vouchers (so a two night stay you can eat once and have $80 to use). The room had some broken outlets and plates coming off the wall and I know it wouldn’t be cost effective to change out the dish sponges after each person’s stay but it’s gross to use a used sponge in my opinion!
