The staff were so friendly and helpful and went out of their way to assist. Service was really excellent. The hotel was charming and restored in a way that kept the old but added comfort and style. The restaurant food was great and plentiful and a log fired warmed the entrance. The spa treatments were also really good.
Parking was a bit restricted but staff moved vehicles and made a plan.
Love the room and bathroom. Very clean and thoughtfully decorated.
Staff really needs training. From ordering room service to coffee at breakfast you could see that there has been no training. They have good ideas but lack in execution unfortunately.
Staff are very professional, friendly, and accommodating! Jacob, the Chef, excelled with the menu options and scrumptious meals ( the Malay Lamb Curry is to die for..), and expect to see and interact with the GM Estelle regularly.
The rooms are bright, modern classic, with all the comforts one requires.
The Spa offers a good selection of therapies and treatments to choose from and Amanda is truly exceptional in delivering your choice.
What I did not expect was to be taken to my room by the receptionist who made sure I knew the layout of the hotel, the restaurant's operating hours and menu's, how the lights, TV, aircon, etc in the room worked, and, offered a welcome drink.
What a beautiful experience in the heart of Robertson, and well worth your visit when next in the area.

The attention to detail and level of service was exceptional - even to the point where a staff member went to buy a spare battery for my vehicle remote. Wonderful room & spotlessly clean. Great restaurant as well. Probably the best bathroom ever.

De vriendelijkheid van het personeel! Je wordt er heel welkom onthaald! Het personeel doet alles voor jou! Je kan er veilig parkeren
De kamers zijn heel mooi ingericht en telkens je s avonds de kamer nog eens verlaat komen ze nog eens alles checken..doen ze de gordijntjes dicht..leggen ze een klein versnapering op je bed! Zijn dus heel attent

1 klein dingetje : hun boekingssysteem is nog wat moeilijk en verwarrend met booking.com . Sturen je een betaalverzoek met een link terwijl je via booking moet betalen! Maar je kan heel vlot communiceren met het hotelmanagement
Das Hotel hat Flair. Knarzende Holztreppen gehören dazu. Die Einrichtung ist geschmackvoll. Das Essen gut. Die Mitarbeiter freundlich. Was will man mehr.
Das Leitungswasser hatte eine unappetitlich braune Farbe. Zähneputzen ging nur mit Mineralwasser. Angeblich ein Problem derlezten Regenfälle, aber für ein Hotel dieser Kategorie nicht akzeptabel.
Prachtig pas gerenoveerd hotel, heel stijlvol ingericht. Onze suite was groot, comfortabel met ruime badkamer. Lekker ontbijt, wel beperkte keuze.

Onze kamer had een mobiele airco die veel lawaai maakte. Tegen de ochtend ook heel veel en luid straatlawaai… In sommige kamers werd airco geïnstalleerd, dus ook hopelijk binnenkort in onze kamer.
Style and decor was tasteful with friendly staff and good food.
