We had just a short overnight stay at the Narrows Landing so we can't provide too many details. We arrived after dark and left very early so it was very much a fly by trip.
The layout of the public areas is really nice. A bit quirky, a bit cozy, and you can tell that during the Summer with all the windows and sliding doors open it must be a really nice place to be. The breakfast was nice and it started early so we were able to grab some before going. Simple fair but enough to start the day!
The rooms were nice, quirky looking, with steepled roofs and a fun (and HUGE) bathroom set up. Lots of wood. Something a little bit different and a nice change of pace from generic boring hotels.
It is right next to a highway. Even with the surrounding trees and the fact that property is a ways back it was still loud. You could hear the traffic in the room, so dont expect quiet night noises unfortunately. It's a real shame because every part of the hotel is set up to be the perfect quiet retreat.
There isnt any food nearby. You can doordash (or uber? I dont remember which one we did). Lots of options although we did choose poorly. You will need a car to get anywhere else. We were exhausted so we just ordered in.

Your staff are just glorious. So friendly and helpful. The fridges and cooking stuff out in the corridors are so great, thanks for having these. Loved curling up with a book and a hot chocolate downstairs on the couches before bed.
A Lovely, if quirky, place to stay in extensive grounds. It is very peaceful here just sitting on the veranda listening to the birdsong. There is some road noise during the day but not enough to worry about. The hosts were very helpful and the breakfasts superb. It is also very close to the famous Hamilton Gardens which are a must see place and also a peaceful riverside walk.
Nothing to dislike. Maybe some cushions for the wooden chairs on the deck but our room also had comfy loungers.

Lage: mitten in der Natur; Haus sieht von außen gut aus
Metall-Fensterrahmen ohne Isolierung; im Haus ist es kälter als draußen; Badezimmertür nur zum Teil vorhanden;
Weit vom Zentrum für das Dinner entfernt , Frühstück enttäuschend. Gepäck über mehrere Ebenen die Treppe hinauf und herunter transportiert. Auch im Zimmer gab es eine Treppe.

Nice staff and view was very nice. Good value for money.
Hallway was alittle creaky but rooms were not creaky and were nice.
The setting and countryside outlook from the reception area was beautiful and the breakfast was excellent
The breakfast was superb. Good selection of breads fruit and cereal and especially good coffee. The bed was comfy shower water pressure good with plenty of towelling. Our hosts were super friendly and helpful
