It's very nice, very photogenic, well designed
The room lacks of ventilation, there is no windows. You can leave the glass door open but that implies compromising your privacy, even with the curtains. Not even the bathroom have any extraction mechanism
La alberca y sus camastros muy cómodos
La atención del personal es muy mala, nulo sentido común o hospitalidad. Parecen robots. Apagan la fuente de la alberca alrededor de 5pm y dicen que esta programado asi, si les comentas si la pueden prender dice que no es posible y la alberca se enfría por lo que te obligar de cierta manera a salir. Tienen música en una tv que se repite todo el tiempo y dicen que es estándar, literalmente 2 canciones repitiendose por mas de 2 horas. Cuando se optó por cambiarlo a otra cosa llego la persona del lobby diciendo que el encargado les habia dicho que tenían que poner algo estándar. Te tienen vigilado de todo y a todo te quieren cobrar con reglas de todo. En lugar de hospitalidad te sientes cuidado y arrinconado a no hacer nada porque todo es potencial multa contra reglamento. No ofrecen bebidas pero si llevas te cobran descorche lo cual es ilógico, cobras descorche cuando no te consumen en tu lugar pero si no ofreces ni comida ni bebida es burdo este procedimiento. Una lástima porque el lugar tiene potencial pero administración y hospitalidad que deja mucho que desear...una verdadera pena. Te sientes corrido en lugar de bienvenido, los del lobby con cara de pocos amigos. En fin hay mejores opciones.

La habitación muy cómoda y amplia, muy interesante la decoración tanto de la habitación como de los exteriores, la alberca y restaurante-bar confortables, una cava decorada con elementos taurinos espectacular.
El ambiente muy tranquilo, para de verdad descansar, recordar que es un hotel solo adultos, por lo que no hay el bullicio de los pequeños, bastante recomendable para una escapada de fin de semana y cerca de Guadalajara, así como también de Ajijic para las comidas o cenas, el hotel solo ofrece desayuno.
El desayuno muy básico, es a la carta y solo 3 opciones: Huevos, Chilaquiles o Waffles, jugo de naranja (No fresco), café de olla o leche.
Muy escasa interacción personal, el desayuno, necesidades, contacto con la administración, todo es vía whatsapp, si te lo resuelven, pero queda esa sensación de no saber quien es tu anfitrión (al menos para nuestra generación, probablemente los más jóvenes lo encuentran bien por así estar acostumbrados a los dispositivos electrónicos).
We left immediately after arriving. The tranquil atmosphere in the lobby was promising. But the rooms turned out extremely small with a bed so small two adults can impossible sleep on it. Ventilator wasn’t working! There was loud music of one of the other guests, the hotel personnel did not say anything of it. All rooms are very close to each other and therefore there is absolutely no privacy. Since we booked only one hour before arriving, but had expected a little flexibility of the owner. But he refused any form of refund and told us to arrange something with Booking. I would strongly advise everyone not to go here. It’s totally overpriced for what it offers and poor service of the owner.
I stay at Casa Miura primarily because of the location. My friends live in the neighborhood and the hotel is near my favorite breakfast restaurant.
The room is a bit dark. The shower takes a few minutes to provide hot water. The wifi is very poor. But none of these issues will stop me from recommending the hotel to friends.
Hotel is inconsiderate to neighbors! Rio Nazas is/was a two way street, until the hotel told guests and workers to park diagonally (parallel parking is plentiful). This reduces our street to ONE WAY in front of the hotel. This disturbs traffic only for local residents, since the hotel is at the bottom of the street. Multiple requests from local residents have been ignored, or rudely dismissed. I would never recommend a business who displays no consideration for its immediate neighbors!
