Great hotel but quite expensive
Pros:

The room was big and well appointed with a large shower, TV, ironing board and iron (!), lots of mirrors and lights. Very discreet. Breakfast was in a different building but it was large and ample food. Quiet despite the busy streets outside.

Cons:

It was confusing as the first building near the train station said RIU Plaza Wilton Road but the actual hotel was across a side street as the usual entrance was shut off by road works. Confusing! The breakfast was in the other building and because of the road works you could go via the second floor and a maze of corridors to the large restaurant. Otherwise you had to go outside and cross three busy roads (at traffic lights). The area is central and as such there are a lot of street sleepers.

3rd time staying at the Riu, I love everything about it.. .can't fault it...The staff our absolutely brilliant at making your stay a great experience.

Good points and bad, unless it became cheaper I wouldn't stay again.
Pros:

Hotel was nice even though construction was going on at the main door which was disruptive. Hotel was clean and comfortable and the breakfast buffet was excellent

Cons:

The journey from the lobby to the room was ridiculous. Up elevators then down and a really long walk. It was easy to get lost and way too complicated. Overall the hotel was overpriced for what we received.

Clean rooms with ample space (by European standards.

Cons:

Electrical outlets in room were nonsensical, e.g. the only place the hair dryer worked was at the desk, not in the bathroom.

Perfect
Pros:

Incredible staff and the location is great. Next to the tube and also a perfection location to watch wicked. Staff were lovely. Maria at the front desk is amazing.
