The Stay Hotel Myeongdong

An unnecessarily overpriced hotel with absolutely nothing going for it except its location. The rooms are extremely small and smell damp and musty.

We stayed at many hotels throughout South Korea, and this was both the most expensive and by far the worst hotel we stayed at.

Every other hotel we stayed at had a complimentary refreshment area in the lobby, offering everything from coffee to water. This hotel had nothing of the sort.

When we requested room cleaning, they simply tidied up the room without even changing the towels.

To get a peaceful night’s sleep, you actually have to unplug the refrigerator because of the noise it makes.

Overall, this was an incredibly disappointing and unpleasant hotel experience. Just because the location is good doesn’t mean it’s worth paying this much money and putting up with such terrible conditions. There are plenty of other alternatives, and I strongly recommend choosing one of them instead.

The shower was old, and there was a foul odor coming from the sink. The floor was also dirty with hairs.

不滿是浴室太小,沒有乾濕分開,容易沾濕乾淨衣服。
花灑和洗手盆在同一位置,不方便洗手。

シャワーのお湯が出ませんでした、夏だったので生ぬるい温度だったのでまだ耐えれましたが冬だと困ります、、

Not clean at all, bad smell, moldy bathroom, sticky floor, door handle broke and just using tape for fixing it, badly designed bathroom flooding after shower, make up the room only changing towels, cleaning the bin, not value for money

部屋とバスルームがとにかく臭い。布団をめくったらおそらく男性の髪の毛がいくつもついていて不快だった

水周りが気になりました。また水圧も弱かった

En general quedé bastante decepcionado por la calidad y tamaño de la habitación. En las fotos se veía mucho mejor de lo que realmente es. La habitación es super chica, la limpieza es mala, se ven marcas en las paredes y suciedad debajo de la cama y entre el escritorio y el placard. La limpieza es uno de los puntos más flojos, así como el tamaño. La ducha está sobre el lavabo, por lo que cada vez que se usa queda el 100% del baño completamente mojado, lo cual es super incómodo para luego usar el baño. Otro detalles es que me pidieron un depósito de 10.000 won por la llave de la habitación y solo aceptaban efectivo, nada de esto se mencionaba previamente.

Me estafaron, pedí una habitación para dos personas y me dieron un desastre con 3 camas mal pegadas. Estaba sucio y no tenían ni un cepillo de dientes. La limpieza sin más, pasable. Huele a humedad.

入って部屋のベッド、床、髪の毛だらけ。シーツ変えてあるの？ってほどの長い髪の毛。また、バスローブがあったがそれも髪の毛がたくさん。清潔感はないし、出かけて部屋に戻ったらベッドが水浸し。空調が壊れていた。クレームしても部屋は満室により帰れず…エアコン使えず部屋は締切り、カビ臭い部屋で、過ごすことに。

清掃が入る日と入らない日があったり、５泊したけどなにかしらなくて、毎日フロントに行っていた。

The room is very small, has an unpleasant smell, and is not comfortable at all. I strongly do not recommend it. The bathroom is extremely cramped. The bathrobe was very dirty, covered with hair. The air conditioner was noisy. Overall, I was very disappointed—this is the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at in Korea.

The room was a lot smaller and not very clean. The bed sheets seemed like they were not washed well.
