The Bernard Rooms

Very noisy, heavy traffic outside as it’s on a main road. It could do with new windows, preferably double glazed

Room itself. Not some place I would recommend.

Maintenance

Alot of stairs to climb, paint peeling off walls, no blinds or curtains on windows, shower not consistent kept going hot and cold while in use

Hallway had cracks running up the wall banister very loose room had a few cracks and mould in the corner

there was a strange smell in the room, the window wouldn’t close, so we had to prop it up with a bag. The floor wasn’t very clean, as if someone had walked around in dirty shoes, and the blue box under the TV was covered in dust. We also arrived at the wrong address because the address with instructions is sent before check-in. It wasn’t a big problem since they provided everything immediately, but we had three large suitcases and hand luggage, so walking for 10 minutes wasn’t very convenient after several hours on the road

It was not clean enough:-(
In the corridor inside the building there was smell of moisture.
In the bathroom there was awful smell from the fan.
Some of the facilities were not in order.
Window was difficult to open.

The room was described as a deluxe. Not. Third floor narrow stairs. No staff
Window looked out over a garbage dump

The shower was barely attached to the wall and potentially dangerous

Some fixtures in need of repair: windows, curtains, front door lock.

Stairway and noise.

Lots of rubbish everywhere, damp in room, only single glazing, roof has leaks
