Awful from start to finish!! Dreadful customer service!!!
Pros:

Cons:

Top floor, no lift - we are pensioners and had suitcases
TV didn’t work - batteries dead in remote and no other way to switch it on.
The ceiling light didn’t work!!! After dark we were in the dark! See photos. The light switch was faulty.
We received only one small towel and miniature toiletries were half used by others!!
There was only a little bit of toilet paper in the room!
The milk sachets provided near kettle were all two months out of date!! What!!! See evidence on photos.
I messaged the owner and got no further replies after they did agree to give us more towels and toilet paper. Extremely poor customer service! 🤬

Pros:

The room is lovely all new ,comfortable bed , nice tv, nice bathroom, hair dryer ect fridge small is a nice idea.

Cons:

No hangers in bathroom to keep your clothes or towels off the floor ,so a hook on the back of door would be amazing.
Loo seat kept slipping off when you sit down , half filled bathroom products, a nail sticking up in the floor through the carpet left hand side if your looking a the window. No t bags in the pot just coffee
Even thought this room had a few faults it was all nice clean and new ,
But the worse problem was that as you came into the property the ground floor flat has a resident who likes too smoke a lot of weed !!!so it was stinking as soon as you got in and it stunk right up the stairs to our room,all night I could smell it as it was seeping in under the door, it's now Monday night and my throat is still effected .

Not suitable for disabled people
Pros:

Please say in the add it's 6 flights of stairs to the room... not appropriate for blind and people with mobility problems.... I am visually impaired and it had black carpet on narrow stairs.and sloping ceilings...I would not have booked if I had known how dangerous it was to me

Shocking for the price, but it's comfortable
Pros:

The room was a good size and bed was comfy

Cons:

Tv did not work, nothing would load
Mold all over bathroom walls
Paint peeling off the walls in the entrance
The lock on the door was hanging on for dear life
The banister was broken in some places with nails sticking out
And lastly the ceiling was so low that my partner had to duck in some areas in the entrance and in our room the ceiling had a huge slant that even I had to crouch to get out the bed ( im 5 foot 2)
Over all was not worth the £120 odd i paid for 1 night

Super clean, comfortable and convenient
Pros:

I arrived at the property and was immediately welcomed by the owners who were outside at the time. They showed me to my room which was super helpful! The room smelt incredible!!!!! Everything was so clean and nicely decorated. The bed was super comfortable as well. I had an event at the guildhall, and this was the perfect location. Westquay was a short walk away for all the shops. I would 100% stay here again :)

Cons:

Couldn’t fault anything. It was perfect!

Location was excellent

When we had a query about towels the staff responded quickly

Decent sized room

Cons:

Mould on ceiling

Curtains were so thin that they did not stop light coming in

We paid for 2 nights only stayed for 1, very disappointing.
Cons:

The room was generally grubby, needs decorating, although the bathroom was clean. The windows are rotting and not clean. you can see outside through the frame, the curtains were shabby, no mirror in the main room, only one chair, the table provided was so low it was of no use., a fridge was provided which was good. Be ok to stay for one night after a night out out. The location is great not somewhere to use as a base while visiting.
A little work would make it so much better.

Pros:

I haven't been at Bernard Rooms : I m very sure it was fantastic there, but I wasn't aware that is a self check-in system, so despite the fact that I booked, I cancelled my stay. However, the location is great and very sure, the place too.
