Pros:

Ideal location, beautiful and well maintained interior lovely and helpful staff. Food was great.

Cons:

Rooms are dated. Beds are old and creaky with worn out mattresses. Breakfast time is very short and check out time too early. Boiler broke down on 1st had to take cold showers.

Superb stay
Pros:

Beautiful hotel and setting. Many quests we spoke to had stayed before and we would certainly return.
Very friendly and helpful staff nothing too much trouble.
Nice outdoor seating areas.

Although no air con being an old building it was cool inside and a fan provided in the room.
Bedroom was spacious and comfortable bed. All very clean.
Evening meal was good and at a reasonable price.
Would need a car as quite a walk to Criceeth but easy in the car.

We didn't stay longer!

Need to advise clients verbally when leaving hotel without room key that doors locked at 10pm

Unable to get 3rd party electric car chargers to work as no phone signal available at charger. You might consider installing a booster which we required in our new countryside location.

Stunning property and location, very friendly and helpful staff who looked after us brilliantly. The gardens and the interior are beautiful, making it a very relaxing environment. Would definitely visit again.

Cons:

Rear bedrooms are lovely and quiet but the wifi is poor there - understandable given the age/type of building. Water pressure wasn't great.
