There was no breakfast and the location was okay.

Cons:

For $350, the entire room reeked of smoke, the top cover had burn marks from cigarettes, the sockets didn’t work and neither did the air conditioning which kept switching between heat and cold. There’s one bottle of water between 2 people. The toiletries were minimal. The stairs had a sign “do not use by management”.

Our bags were held until 12:30pm, as we had a flight to catch at 3pm.

Cons:

Check out is at 11am, if it was at 12pm, I would have been a happy camper.

Minha experiência neste hotel foi extremamente decepcionante desde o momento em que chegamos.

Ao chegarmos à entrada do hotel, havia pessoas fumando maconha na porta. Embora eu entenda que isso possa ser algo relativamente comum em algumas áreas de Nova York, isso já nos causou uma péssima primeira impressão.

Ao entrarmos na recepção, enquanto aguardávamos o atendimento, um homem entrou vindo da rua pedindo coisas às pessoas que estavam no saguão. Isso nos fez sentir desconfortáveis e inseguros.

Reservamos dois quartos para não fumantes para nossa família de cinco pessoas. Porém, assim que chegamos ao andar dos quartos, já sentimos um forte cheiro nos corredores. Quando abrimos a porta dos quartos, o odor era insuportável. Os dois quartos estavam completamente impregnados com cheiro de maconha e cigarro.

Para piorar, o detector de fumaça dos quartos estava coberto com um saco plástico, o que é extremamente preocupante do ponto de vista da segurança. Isso nos deu a impressão de que fumar dentro dos quartos é um problema recorrente no hotel.

Meu esposo desceu até a recepção para reclamar e solicitar a troca do quarto, pois havíamos reservado quartos para não fumantes. O funcionário informou que não havia outro quarto disponível. Em vez de resolver o problema, ele apenas entregou um aromatizador de ambiente específico para mascarar cheiro de cigarro. Inclusive, o produto tinha até o desenho de um cigarro no rótulo, deixando claro que o hotel já conhece esse problema e convive com ele, em vez de solucioná-lo.

Um dos quartos estava completamente impossível de ser utilizado por causa do cheiro intenso de maconha. Como consequência, as cinco pessoas da nossa família tiveram que dormir juntas em apenas um quarto, que possuía somente duas camas. Mesmo esse quarto também apresentava cheiro de fumaça, apenas um pouco menos intenso.

My stay was just alright for what I needed which was just an overnight stay before driving back home
