Recomiendo alojarse en el mismo Château. Nosotros debimos alojarnos en el anexo, ya que queríamos habitaciones dobles con camas separadas y ya no había disponibilidad en el edificio principal.
De todas formas, nuestras habitaciones eran muy amplias y cómodas y como estábamos con auto, nos trasladamos para desayunar y cenar, con el mismo, desde un edificio a otro, ya que hacía frío y llovía.

We had a lovely stay overall. The staff were all extremely welcoming and attentive, and the setting is truly beautiful with wonderful views. The food was delightful on the day we dined, and the rooms were comfortable, though they would benefit from some updating, particularly the bathroom. We noticed the bidet wasn’t delivering any water, and the sink didn’t provide enough hot water to shave, so we had to boil the kettle.
A little more attention to detail would elevate the experience even further. A long‑handled duster would help with the cobwebs and dust on the otherwise magnificent chandeliers, and the lift is very small. In the public areas, the loos in the château were quite compact and only had paper towels, whereas the swimming‑pool facilities offered fabric towels, which felt more in keeping with the setting.
It would also have been helpful to have a printed guide to the amenities along with a simple map of the property.
Despite these points, we enjoyed our stay and appreciated the warm hospitality.

The rooms were beautiful and spacious and the view out our window was absolutely stunning. The staff were some of the best I have encountered: warm, welcoming, helpful. The breakfast buffet offered plenty of delicious options. The little town of Montbazon was cute and Dolce Vita restaurant is a must go.
The dinner we had at the restaurant was only average. Menu options were limited so I had chicken and one other of us had veal. The veal had very little taste so definitely not a good choice. The service was amazing. One little detail: there were 2 pugs and a large Italian hound dog in the restaurant. I didn't mind at all but some might.

Dinner was awesome, we enjoyed the sommelier helping us pick the right wine for our dinner. Chateau was beautiful, in a great location.
The bar menu could have had a larger selection of wines. The selection of wines in the restaurant was huge.

What an absolute pleasure to be able to stay in a property like this once we learnt the history of the property it was owned and developed by the Cody family. We were very impressed with the state of repair and overall ambience of the Château.
Unfortunately the rooms are a little tired and in need of updating however they were clean and tidy and the bathrooms were adequate. The staff went to great links to explain that there is a significant renovation program taking place over the next few years which will see our bedrooms and bathrooms upgraded.
