Pros:

The hotel team were super friendly and nice, and the views from the rooms and breakfast area were amazing. The beds were comfy and loved the decor of the room.

Cons:

It's cash only for the room which wasn't communicated at time of booking, only in an email on the day before / if arrival, so it was a pain to go and get all that cash out (and pay an atm fee for doing so). A range of things given for breakfast, which was nice, but cold fried eggs was not the one.

An amazing location with views across the city!
Pros:

This was such a beautiful property! Right at the top of Mangalem (the old ottoman quarter) so there were amazing views over the city from both our room and the restaurant. We had a 2 bedroom room and it would be perfect for a family of 4 due to having separate rooms and 2 x bathrooms. It was also very clean. The breakfast was amazing and had a gluten free and vegan option. Norma was friendly and helped us feel welcome at this beautiful property.

Cons:

I wouldn’t say I didn’t like this, but just wanted to call out that if there’s any way to just pack a backpack and avoid taking a large suitcase up with you, then do this. It’s quite a steep walk up the hill (cars can’t drive up to the property), however this is to be expected when booking a property in this location. The views are worth it though!

Aangenaam verblijf in Berat
Pros:

Hotel Bohem heeft ons aangenaam verrast. We werden enorm gastvrij ontvangen en hebben enorm genoten van ons verblijf. Het ontbijt was top. Zeker een aanrader!

Lovely! Definitely recommend a stay.
Pros:

Historical location. Nice space, beds were really comfy, staff were helpful. Overall lovely stay.

Cons:

The bathroom design was inconvenient as there was no shower door so when you showered the whole bathroom gets wet and can become slippery. Aside from that the room was very cute and clean.

Pros:

Tolle Lage und schönes kleines Hotel! Frühstück war in Ordnung, die Aussicht von der Terrasse war top.

Cons:

Dusche mitten im Badezimmer. Dadurch war leider das ganze Bad nass nach dem Duschen. Leider war es aber anders nicht lösbar, das Badezimmer war sehr klein.

Beste Aussicht über Berat
Pros:

Unglaublich nettes Personal was extrem fürsorglich ist.
Wir haben alsmöglich für unsere zweite Nacht ein besseres Zimmer bekommen und durften umziehen.
Auch die Terrasse im Obergeschoss bietet beste Ausblicke über ganz Berat.
Einfach unglaublich schön!

Uma cidade encantadora para visitar e levar no coração.
Pros:

O alojamento parece um labirinto de recantos encantadores. O quarto era confortável e limpo. Os empregados muito simpáticos e disponíveis. A vista do pequeno-almoço é perfeita.

Cons:

Não existe acesso para carro, é a natureza desta cidade. Viajar com mochila ou pouca bagagem é recomendado.

A true gem!
Pros:

What a gem of a place! We stayed here for two nights and absolutely loved our stay. The hotel is up a steep hill with cobbled stones that must be taken on foot so please be mindful of this when booking but it comes with the most beautiful reward. The hotel is on a hill and the views of Berat are gorgeous. The breakfast lounge / bar is at the very top and the views are endless. Service was incredible, our host Edri (I'm definitely spelling this wrong - sorry!) couldn't be more helpful. He even booked us dinner in a local place nearby and asked for the best table for us. Beds were comfy and bathroom nice and modern. Final bonus, the smell of jasmine everywhere was amazing!

Cons:

It's up a steep hill with no opportunity for cars to drive up so please be mindful if this is going to be an issue for you.

Very comfortable and great value for money
Pros:

It’s very cute with amazing views both from the rooms and the breakfast area.
But it was challenging to find the property and drop off luggage and take the car to the carpark.
It was not an easy task but I guess it’s the case with most properties in the town of Berat.
