North Coast Hotel

The guy who I'm guessing owned the hotel didn't even turn up after ringing 3x stating we were outside waiting to go into the hotel. Upon arriving he asked us for wifi hot-spot so he could provide us with the code for us to access our bedroom. It was very confusing of why he didn't have data or wifi.
The bathroom ceiling has mould/damp (photos for proof) no extractor fan in the bathroom. To make it worse there was no toilet roll or towels were provided even after asking multiple times. The sink started trickling water underneath when having the tap on for 2 mins. The bedroom was nothing like pictured in the advert. There wasn't even enough cups for 2 people. We had to ask for another cup to even have a cup of tea. The fire alarm in the bedroom didn't even work, it didn't blink red not even once. The tv has NO freeview channels even set up, and it kept turning off. My partner ended up connecting his PS5 otherwise we probably would have been bored when trying to relax. The milk provided for us to make a hot drink weren't even in date and there wasn't any spoons provided.

You could smell a bad smell from the other bedrooms, you could always get a smell of weed on the landing and the locks on the bedroom doors are NOT secure. One of the other people staying in other rooms had even stated there is no wifi and that she felt she couldn't sleep because the door didn't close properly. One guy downstairs arrived shortly after us and saw a mouldy airfryer and hairs in the sink and demanded his money back from the owner. It was very concerning and we didn't feel great at all. Will NOT be returning back at all. It didn't cost much, but definitely won't be coming back. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. If you do, just know, YOU WILL end up wanting a refund and your stomach may turn.

It had a Tele that didn't work, there was no towel , I won't be going back.

Turned up met by two men went to take us to room then decided to move us to another hotel. Didn’t feel very safe . Would not have been very good if was a female on my own as having two men walking you to some where different.got to other property and it was dirty holes in the wall , only one towel for two people. No spoon to make a coffee with. Bed so uncomfortable woke up in agony, only one pillow.

When got to the hotel had to wait for someone to turn up and then clean the room while i was waiting also going into 3 other people didnt know what was going on and the room was stil not cleanish

Having to pay £10 a day for parking onsite when they offer it free for anyone booking direct with them.

Wifi didn't work, TV didn't work. Bathroom ceiling stained. Customer service shocking. Bed shocking. Location OK

It was closed! Called multiple times and no answer!!!
It even said it was available online for that night!
Finally got through and was told to go to another hotel. We took one look at it inside reception and walked back out on the streets and told them not a chance!
It was also 2 rooms instead of a family and second not a chance we would stay there with our family.

Best decision we made. We booked elsewhere for more than double the price (as last min) but it was safe and clean!

Do not waste your time. Had to send multiple messages to request a refund (did get it in the end).
It’s not worth the headache. This is completely fake. I have no idea why it’s still on booking.com when I complained. Look at other reviews, similar story. They show you a nice room then send you to a different hotel which looked shocking!

I arrived, and had to wait half hour before someone came and let me (and others) check in. Then I got into room and bathroom was not clean. There were only 2 sachets of coffee and milk for my 5 night stay (not even 1 coffee a day), hardly any loo roll in bathroom so I had to buy both loo roll and more coffee. Kettle was hard to fill due to the shape of tap. Also my door would not lock. They did try to fix it but told me the whole door would need replacing so I had to put up with a door that didn't lock for my whole stay. I am only grateful that my things were safe the whole time, but as a female solo traveller, I was not impressed.
